We stumbled upon this quaint and welcoming diner, and it was everything we hoped for and more. From the moment we walked in, we felt right at home. The food was absolutely delicious—hand-pressed burgers, a perfectly made egg salad sandwich, and fresh-cut fries and potato chips that were crisp and flavorful. And then there were the sweets—homemade blueberry coffee cake and chocolate cookies that were simply incredible.

I'm a flatlander up north hunting in Wellsboro. My cousin and I found Abbey's establishment on Google maps . We've been coming up north for over 40 years now. And might I say, I haven't eaten a better breakfast than here at Abbey's. Great little place, with great prices. The food was served with a smile from Abbey herself. And Wow was it delicious. Beautiful little town, with one of the best little diners I've ever eaten at. I will highly recommend it and will definitely be sure to return here every time I come up to Wellsboro....

This is a great place for good home cooking. Whether it be breakfast, a sandwich or dinner. You will have excellent food and friendly service. Abbey works hard and the food and service is proof that her hard work pays off. I can guarantee you that the haddock and Mac and cheese are absolutely awesome. I have never had better fish anywhere! I highly reccomend this restaurant for really good food. Try the hand battered fish dinner and believe me you will not be disappointed and you will be back!...
