King House — Restaurant in Blountstown

So angry and upset with this place. Took our littles girls here for lunch. Our oldest who is 7 is very special needs. Their were sign posted everywhere stating take only what you can eat or pay double at their buffet. So we told our girls to only get what they where going to eat. My oldest told me she did not want the broccoli in this dish (food texture really bothers her) so I was putting the rest of the dish on her plate when the waitress from across the restaurant yelled and said I couldn't do this because she had to eat everything. My little girl started to cry and asked if she was bad. Her disorders makes her not understand things in life. I explained no baby, mommy did something wrong. So we sat down. She was so upset she did not finish her lunch. Then on top of that we have an 18 month old baby who dropped some food and got very rude comments. My oldest is still so upset. It ruined her day. She doesn't get to go out to eat often and when she does it's a very special thing. I can't believe what happened. The price we were charged at the end of this mess was crazy too. We will never...

When I stopped in to order my food, I inquired as to whether they had vegetable mei fun and when he said yes I asked that they please add tofu. The person tat the counter looked at me as though I was crazy. I repeated my question and he said he could ask but they have never done that before and didn't know if they could. I simply asked him to ask. This was a problem for the chef so no go. I defaulted to the Buddha's Delight and asked for fried rice with it. When my food arrived, the tofu was overcooked and although edible, not properly flavored. When I tried my fried rice, I found an unappealing flavor as there was absolutley nothing in it to give it flavor. I asked about it's lack of ingredients beyond rice and he replied it was their plain fried rice. After so many prior positive reviews I was very unhappy with my experience. As a side note, the person at the register used the explanation that they get many complaints already about their food and so the chef was afraid of not making the food good. Well... I guess I should have paid attention to that...

This is by far the worst restaurant I’ve ever walked into. Not only is the food awful, but they can’t even ensure the buffet has any quantity or quality to it. There is dust caked to everything, and even fecal matter on their toilet.. rendering it unusable by my standards. To top it off, the workers, husband and wife, went back and forth fighting with one another! Screaming at one another in the back room. The man at one point even told a customer “to sit down” in a very threatening tone. This place should be shut down, and has been due to rats! STAY AWAY. Seriously. It’s vile in there.
