Double B Missions Cafe — Restaurant in Blountsville

My grandma and my aunt ate at this restaurant the other night and we was disappointed , my aunt has always loved this restaurant for yrs til this passed Friday Feb 8 2019 . She said they have new crew and employees . my aunt ordered the half slab bbq ribs baked beans, and baked potato, my grandma ordered the the bbq meat combo, with cole slaw while i had the grilled chicken with baked potato , and cole slaw, i was very disappointed in my food . my aunts ribs was way over cooked hard as a brick that it couldn't be eaten, my grilled chicken was too dry in i couldn't really hardly chew it, the slaw was nasty as hell, no flavor to it ,i took one bite to try it and i was like i cant believe on how i just had to waste something like that . the food was horrible and too dry , we were very disappointed with the food . the staff was friendly but the food was just too horrible and unable to eat . only thing that was good and was perfectly cooked was the baked potatoes, that's it . i will not eat at this restaurant again ..... Bad food being cooked over whelming dry we was very disappointed in the food we got for the price we paid to eat . WILL NOT BE EATING...

Usually the service and food are awesome. I always go here for take out and to dine in.. But on this night it wasn't at its best. It took forever for our food to arrive and only 3 tables were seated. The waitress took order and brought food and that's the last we saw of her until time to check out and I had to ask for the drinks to go since I sat a good 15 minutes with an empty glass while she sat at a table playing on her phone the whole time while other waitresses were busy trying to clean. And not only I was complaining there was another guy who couldn't get his overcooked baked potato and no salt on table.. The waitress also let it be known infront of my daughter that she hated us... I guess cause I only left her a dollar.. I'm sorry hun you don't get paid to sit and look pretty while dressed like you just...

Love this restaurant! It's one of my favorites to eat at ! I have been eating here since I was a kid ( for over 20 years ) my mom and dad always swear by their juicy, tender mouth watering ribs, I love the ribeye steak ( best in town ), my oldest son loves the nice big juicy hamburgers that I do believe at one time won the best Burger award, and my youngest son loves the steak and shrimp plate ... If your a fish lover you Gotta try the all you can eat fish special not even to mention the fix it yourself salad bar is always fresh !! The service is excellent you won't find friendly people that end up feeling more like family to wait on you ! Thanks Double B's for keeping it hometown friendly!!
