Review from a Texan. This was great Mexican food. I normally try to avoid Mexican food outside of the state but I would gladly come back here and actually request to come back. The homemade corn tortillas alone are worth the trip. Here is what we had and my ratings (I am picky) Salsa: 8.7/10 Queso/Cheese Sauce:8/10 Street Tacos: 9.2/10 - Wife Kids Quesadillas: 10/10 (according to my 5yr old) Chile Relleno: 10/10 - Father In Law Ribeye Fajitas: 12/10 these are an absolute bargain, tender, juicy. I truly can not say enough good things about them.

If you are anywhere close you owe it to yourself to go here. I have had Mexican Food at a few places in Harrison, Springfield, etc and this is the only place I actually enjoy.

Almost forgot: the Charro Beans are so good they could be...

This was by far one of the best meals we have had in a restaurant in a while! I ordered the carnitas plate and wife had El pastor street taco plate. Her tacos were delicious and very generous with the filling. Beans are done right and the tomatillo salsa was tasty. Caritas plate was huge! Charro beans were great! Everything was prepared with love and you can taste it in the meals...did I mention they have aqua frescas? Horchata , tamarind, hibiscus...yummmm!!! Saw several dishes being served at other tables and everything looked incredible. It's a little hard to find unless you know where jim baker lives...lol. worth the adventure to find. You'll...

Found this place on Google Maps this morning as we were leaving TRL. Took a chance and so glad we did. This was the beat Mexican food I've had in a long time. I had the combo fajitas with steak and chicken. The meat was so tender and flavorful. Very good flour tortillas. The wife had the street tacos. She was very impressed. We shared a queso. All the food was very good. The only thing better was the service. They even served us lunch even though it wasn't quite 11:00 (Thank you!). This was way better than any experience I've ever had at a restaurant that's been open for less than a week. Don't miss this one! We...

My husband and I came here looking for delicious Mexican food. At first, we were a little unsure about the location, but once we arrived, we were so glad we made the trip. The food was absolutely incredible—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. I ordered the barbacoa street tacos, and they were hands-down the best tacos I’ve ever had! Every bite was packed with delicious, authentic flavors that made the meal truly special. My husband got the California burrito and loved it as well! We totally recommend Las Casitas!

We were not looking for this restaurant to be inside of a larger building so were confused at first. However once we got inside the building we easily found the restaurant. The owner who waited on us was friendly and gave us a description of a number of their unique dishes. We chose to share an amazing dish that was too big for one. 5 meats and 2 sides in this delicious meal! I want to return to try some more of their unique and authentic Mexican dishes! I highly recommend to anyone!!
