Not bad food. I did not like the pizza it was absolutely nasty! If you have young children watch the waitresses last 2 times I've been there the waiter has stuck super hot food in front of my 3yo. After making the comments it's fresh out the oven or fryer. I was there the other day and got a bacon cheeseburger.they charged me for a burger with added cheese (around $0.75 ) added bacon (around $2.49 for 1 slice of bacon cut in half) and then charged me $2.79 for fries instead of making it a meal. And the burger was a cheap premade patty. My son's chicken nuggets where left in the deep fryer so long they were hard ( burnt) and he got like 10 fries. Use to absolutely love this place just getting expensive ( I know everything is) and just not the best anymore. Last time there I got the burger ( I talked about above) and water to drink my son's chicken nuggets with a chocolate milk which was part of his meal ( I talked about above) the other 2 people with me got 2 eggs with toast one asked for fried and got hash browns coffee to drink. And was $50.25!
Having a young child it is hard to keep them calm in a restaurant. I do try. But as soon as I've walked in with my son the regulars just give you dirty looks and stair at you the whole time your there. Then when I get sick of them starting because my son's being a little on the loud side I give him my phone to watch a movie and they make snobby remarks. I know he doesn't need my phone but it's to help everyone...
Read moreAt 115 pounds I almost never finish my meal. Here I ate every bit and searched for the scrap bread crusts off my husbands’ plate. While this would normally mean I couldn’t help myself but eat every bit- in this case it means my 19 dollar plate had about enough food on it for a 4 year old. The sandwich-Ruben had almost enough meat on it for half a sandwich, the 5 onions rings were a $4.00 dollar add on. (The chunk of raw batter …. Maybe that was the extra cost?!) Staff was super pleasant but the cost of the meal was so out of wack- I would have to assume they bought their product at Family Fare and tripped the price from there. About 1.75 at most in product cost. Coming from someone who has been in the restaurant business their entire life. On the positive side- Salads I saw go out were huge and the burger I saw at another table looked like it kinda fit it the price bracket. But I must say- there is no food left on any plate from the 20 I looked at… except my husband left his raw hash browns. 60$ basically for happy meals. Super great if you are one of those folks that never finish your food and always leave it to be thrown away- here you would surely not to...
Read moreMy fiance and I came in for lunch on a Sunday. I was skeptical because they were crowded and busy. They got us to a table fairly quick and immediately I felt a lot more relaxed and at home. The service was wonderful from the time we got here to the time we left with the waiter checking on us, but not too much to where you start feeling uncomfortable. We took our time deciding what we wanted to order and it felt like just after we ordered, our food was out fresh and hot.
The food itself was amazing. For a small restaurant they really know what they are doing when they cook. It was a nice hot meal that made my mouth water as soon as it was set in front me. I got the Reuben and one of the most common problems you get is too much 1000 island dressing. After I took my first bite I couldn't stop. I had to keep eating. The corned beef was moist and just fell apart in my mouth. The fries were hot with a little crunch to them, which I loved. My fiance got the French dip and he couldn't say anything bad about it. He smiled practically the entire time he ate it.
Overall I will be recommending this restaurant to all of my family. It is well worth it for the price and...
