I never really have high hopes for pub food, but this place really caught me off guard. Loved the pickled asparagus. They had it deep fried as an app, looked freshly dredged. Also had the Town’s Landing Salad, pickled asparagus again but not breaded, and the dilly cucumber dressing was unmistakably house made, fresh and full of flavor. My husband got the pub burger, which again, looked like a hand made burger that came freshly off the grill. Juicy but had that grill flavor. Last night I stopped by the Three Robbers Pub, which turned out to be a hidden gem. The place is small, but cozy. At the bartender's suggestion, I decided to try their buffalo chicken sandwich. I must say, it was delicious! The food was served fresh and hot, and the homemade buffalo sauce on the sandwich was excellent. The fries were crispy and well-seasoned. We stopped here on our way to Acadia in August 2019. We literally just got off the highway at that exit & drove until we found something, and this was it. Best decision we ever made! The food was fantastic! I had the best cheesesteak I have ever had, andI’ve been to Philly many times. My son loved the veggie burger, and he is beyond particular.
