On 5/26, I arrived at this McDonald's to pick up an Uber Eats order.
When I arrived, I told a female employee, I was there for Uber Eats and showed her my phone displaying the customer name and order #.
Immediately after, the emplayer asked if I could let the customer know they didn't have Oreo McFlurry. My immediate response was, " I don't have the customer number. I only see the customers telephone number once I start delivery and I can't do that until I get the food. Normally the restaurant will call the customer to let them know and see if they want anything else as a replacement.
The employee didn't know what t d so she called over Raz, the manager and explained the situation. He said, we don't call the customer. Also, I said to him, "I don't have the customer number but the period of time, I've been doing Uber Eats. The restaurant have always contact the customer when there's something not available. He began to get upset and said, "You can cancel the order and leave my store" and removed the order of food. that was in front of me in tbe counter. I believe he went to call the police as if I did something because he got on the phone and saying leave my store. I was baffled, embarrassed and humiliated. I believe
I was there doing my job in a timely manner so I can get paid for the order. Due to Raz poor behavior, I lost out and didn't get paid because he apparently cancelled the order.. Unfortunately, Raz didn't want to do his job because he could've contact the customer about not having and item that they ordered from his establishment.
I left the establishment and immediately contact Uber and McDonald's Corporate while sitting out front. Uber contact McDonald's; spoke to Raz and he told Uber he cancelled the order.
I have been to this McDonald's many times and has NEVER had such a bad experience. Unfortunately, due to this unfortunate experience, Uber will not give me another order pick up from this location again because of the poor experience and my complaint bro them about this restaurant.
I will never go there again as long as Raz is...
Read moreMy friends and I were out driving around yesterday night and we decided to stop by to get food At McDonald’s of all places. Now generally, we know this McDonald’s is pretty consistent in being terrible, but we said “ah, what the hell.” So we decided to go through the drive thru, we get to the drive thru speaker and a woman said “drive thru is closed, you’ll have to go inside.” Fair enough, so we go inside to order. I go up, order for myself and my friends, pay, and walk away to wait.
5 minutes in: patiently waiting, not too bad of a wait yet, so we don’t care.
10 minutes in: little bored, tired of waiting but it’s still not bad.
15 minutes in: people who ordered after us begin to get their food, to which we begin questioning.
25 minutes in: getting kind of irritated so we go up and ask the employees working “what’s going on? We’ve been waiting for almost half an hour...”
The girl working front counter then says “bruh what? I swear I called that number! Somebody took the food?!” I look at her and say...” no you didn’t or I didn’t have hear you than” girl working counter: “sucks her teeth, bruh”
People continue to get served as we wait another 10 to 15 minutes before they say “can I get two (insert out order). Sorry we’re just waiting on your fries” 5 more minutes go by and we finally get our food and walk out. We get in my car and begin eating when I offer a friend a fry, he takes a bite and says the breading was gritty and undercooked. Fantastic, I’ve never had such great service in my life. Not to mention the girl who took my order had a headphone bud in her ear and began talking on the phone while I was ordering, the manager was just standing up front not offering any assistance to me or managing her team, just shuffling though boxes on the counter, smelled like ass inside, and just another terrible experience. Save yourself somebody trouble, and go to the McDonald’s on 301. Will not be returning...
Read moreIt was no secret to me after some experience that this McDonald's location is not the best. I've had to wait 15 minutes for one meal as people that ordered after me zoomed in and out, I've gotten a similar yet wrong order, and not to mention, some BURNT chicken nuggets, but I've also had some pretty standard experiences here as well. However, that's not what this review is about, no, what happened to me about two hours ago was just unacceptable.
I approached the drive thru window, made my order, (which was interrupted by employee thinking I was finished ordering before I actually was, but that's not important) and paid with no problem, it wasn't until I pulled up to the last window that the problem became evident. They were taking a while which was a bit alarming but I assumed maybe they were just busy. After we got our drinks was when they uttered that horrifying news that I was not prepared for.
"We're out of fries"
It felt like my heart was being ripped out of my chest. They say it's a cruel world and that life is unfair, but I never really believed it until now.
They offered to replace the fries with pies and although the pies were alright, I felt robbed. I'm usually all for a sweet and savory combination, but this time it felt wrong. Nothing can replace the thin, crispy, and preservative filled simplicity of the McDonald's French fry .
Bottom line, do what you want with your money, I was probably just unlucky, but keep in mind that you are at risk of being disappointed when you come here and i for one will not be returning.
Tl;dr: fry...
