What is going on with this place? The food used to be consistently good at a fair price. Now the prices have gone way up and the quality of the food has tanked. My wife, her sisters and cousins recently came here for lunch. All of their food was served on cheap paper plates. My wife's chef salad, and her cousins taco salad included moldy cheese. It was easy to see it was moldy, but it was still served. My wife asked for a glass of water. She was told that they don't have glasses of water, but you can purchase a bottle of water for a dollar. This experience was very disappointing for all of them. When you pay $11-$12 or more for a meal, you shouldn't have to pay for water, and it should be served on something sturdy enough to eat it from. Oh, it also came with a cheap plastic fork. I know expenses have gone up. It has on everything. The thing is, as expenses go up, the quality should also. This used to be a good place. I've heard other negative things going on here also. Hopefully they turn it around soon. People on the trail are...
Read morePerhaps the most adorable place on Earth! A tiny cafe in Bowlus just off the Soo Line Trail. Inside there are around half a dozen tables, fun and eclectic decor, and local items for sale such as honey and organic soaps and lotions. A variety of outdoor seating options are also available including an outdoor porch, patio tables, a covered picnic table and more. The cafe is surrounded by beautiful flower gardens complete with a tiny wooden bridge and koi ponds. Shabby chik decor surrounds you. Your meal will be served on mismatched plates adding to a casual atmosphere, and the meal itself will taste 100% homemade. The menu lends itself to surprise. There are things here that you won't find elsewhere such as a "Wizzie," a sanwhich on cranberry bread with ham, swiss, egg and coleslaw inside! Or how about a stroganoff burger? A handmade burger topped with sauted, raw mushrooms (not canned) sour cream and swiss? This little place is a gem and a must-see if you ever find yourself in Bowlus. We can't...

I was just really disappointed I had enjoyed my visit there last time and they have really good food but when I go out to a sit down restaurant and especially for that price I want sit and enjoy the meal otherwise I would go to a fast...
