The food was just ok. It was a little expensive for the size and quality. When we went, the fryer was down, so the kids' meals had apple slices as a replacement for the fries. A little bag with 4 slices didn't really cut it for my kids, so they ended up still hungry after they ate all their food. The tortilla for the taco was stale and the shrimp was overcooked. The mac and cheese was great. The pretzels we're promising but fell flat. Even with all that, I would 100% return and plan on coming back soon. First off, the staff was incredibly friendly and nice. It was our first time visiting, and we asked a bunch of questions. Everyone answered with a smile on their face. Even with a bunch of kids running around they did not seem bothered. The biggest reason I'll come back is how family-friendly it was. In fact, most of the people there when we went were people with young children. To be able to enjoy a drink and food while my kids entertain themselves is such a treat. They had tons of games and lots of comfy seating. There were tvs playing multiple sporting events. One cool feature as well is the wall of beer/wine on draft. You pay for the amount you pour. (Which is great for a lightweight like me). It was nice to be able to try a bit of a few drinks. I'm really looking forward to visiting once the weather is nice so we can enjoy the outside space. Love to have a place like this in the area.

I don't know why, but I do like coming here. We came 3 months ago, the vibe is trying to be hip, some of the decor feels forced and I wish the space had clearer boundaries for play (I have been twice on slow days which is a win to me; it's hard to imagine the noise during a busy night). The staff are personable and it felt like our interactions were genuine and not forced, and the falafel sandwich was banging IMHO. We ended up being a-holes and went off the menu for a falafel pizza which did not disappoint. Pricing felt above market but that's kind of everywhere right now and the per oz pricing for beverages is clever but I can see how a few drinks would add up really quick. I like the independent flow of the experience, and I like not having other humans wait on me or service me. It's hard to find vegetarian food that celebrates itself boldly, and I think we got that with our falafel sandwich and pizza. It's nice to have a place we can hang and play games (though I wish the ping pong paddles were a little better quality but I also see how they degrade with time and use so I get it). Lighting isn't offensive, bathrooms are clean, the outdoor space looks comfy enough. It's a win in my book. Thanks.

Went here on an outing after a long day. Ordered over 150 dollars worth of food. Food was not great. Soda machine wasn’t working and water had to be bottled. My burger was also made haphazardly as the top bun was significantly smaller than the bottom. One of our entrees was inedible (the chipotle chicken bowl). The staff were also a bit rude and they continued to hold a more antagonistic attitude towards us. They stared at us the entire time. Most likely won’t be back. The Waltham location is better by far. Update: there was a reply here to this review where the marketing person said they’ll try to make things right. I sent an email which never got a reply. It seems they aren’t interested and wish to only make it look like they care.

I hosted a company outing here in the early afternoon last Friday, and right from the start, I knew we were in good hands. Vinny & Alley handled the pre-event communication with excellence, ensuring everything was clear and responsive. The absence of a rental fee and the easy-to-meet Food and Beverage minimum for our group of ~40 guests were major bonuses.

Once we arrived on-site, Pat and Veronica, the managers, were fantastic! They truly went above and beyond to take care of us throughout the event. Despite the self-service setup on the beer hall, they made sure to check in with us regularly, ensuring everything ran smoothly. Pat and Veronica even noticed that we had ordered too much food, but instead of sticking with the original order to run up the bill, they backed off and helped us adjust, ensuring we ended up with the perfect amount.

Let's not forget about Jordan, the kitchen manager, who deserves a big shoutout! The food was great!

In addition to the delicious food, they also serve some really nice specialty cocktails that added to the overall experience.

The venue itself was laid out beautifully, with an open design that seamlessly flowed onto the spacious back patio. We had a blast with the variety of fun games available, including cornhole, shuffleboard, and a pool table. The abundance of outdoor seating was perfect for the gorgeous day we had, allowing everyone to relax and soak in the atmosphere.

Overall, I was thrilled with the experience at the Craft Food Hall in Boxborough! I'll personally be...

The League of Women Voters--Acton Area hosted its annual meeting in June at the brand-new Boxborough location. It was a wonderful experience. We were the first to reserve and use the private function room, which is an attractive space with large windows overlooking the patio area and providing lots of natural light. The space comfortably accommodated our 25-30 attendees, with 5 tables seating 6, plus a large buffet table and a member check-in table. There is a retractable projection screen that we put to good use, and with the doors closed, we were able to run the business part of our meeting undisturbed while a lively crowd enjoyed the main part of the restaurant.

Our buffet table featured an array of delicious hors d’oeuvres platters from the restaurant’s event menu: charcuterie board of cured meats and cheese with crouton toasts and fig and other condiments, smoked salmon on cucumbers, spinach dip wontons, vegetarian caprese sandwiches, Greek salad, freshly baked pretzel bites with dips, and enormous chocolate chip cookies to finish. There were large dispensers of chilled flavored spa water and we had a cash-bar arrangement for alcoholic beverages, which were available in the main part of the restaurant: some attendees ordered from the bar while others secured beer cards so they could try the self-serve “beer wall.”

Staff members Vinny Polcari, Chris Pierce and Pat Cooper were a pleasure to work with and helped to make the evening a memorably enjoyable one...
