Main's Country Store and Grill — Restaurant in Bozrah

I normally go there since it’s the store closest to where I work. Normally have very good interactions with the staff there. Except today I bought a pack of cigarettes and I normally pay and leave don’t even get a receipt and I don’t mind. I did as normal walked to my truck and was chased by another customer asking me to come back because “I didn’t sign”. I go to the counter and I ask if I need to sign to which the older lady at the counter replies “No but you know well cigarettes are not 8 dollars this is not the 90s” again, I always pay by card and leave without even asking how much was it. Then I proceed to give the lady the cigarettes back so she could scan them, she puts them on top of the register and proceeds to charge me the difference (her error not mine). Then I ask if I can have my cigarettes, she says she gave them to me (the cigarettes are literally on top of her register). I proceed to empty my pockets and prove that I am not a thief, she says “whatever” and gives me a nasty look.

I do not appreciate being accused of “well knowing cigarettes are not 8 dollars” when I didn’t even get a receipt. And then accused of trying to get another pack of cigarettes and have to empty my pockets in front of other customers and staff. Pretty disappointing. But as the lady...

This place is cool. The community around the store is also fantastic. I came in to get something special to drink for new years 2021. My debit card client system went down so card wasn't working. I stood there 20 mins trying to get card working cause drove there from very far just to get some Henry's orange cause my town stores no longer sell it. This awesome guy comes in and buys it for me $13. Thank you to whoever you were and to the store for understanding why I stood soo long. You be pleased to know I'm doing good and yes I behaved myself with that drink! Maybe in May, I'll come buy more Henry's...

Loved our little pit stop!! Must have a toaster grinder!! If you don’t know what a grinder is no worries we didn’t either! Like a sub and it was amazing! Owner told us they use a local bakery for all their bread and it was delicious! I had a roast beef grinder with provolone toasted and hubby had a cheeseburger!! We give both 5 stars!! Definitely worth the stop!! Also we are traveling in a 45 ft RV and they have a nice large lot for turning around and parking just 30 seconds off the interstate. May be the best Mom and Pop place we have hit in our 10 day 10 state journey!!!...
