EDIT I want to take this time to edit my review after who I am assuming is the owner reached out to me to talk to me about the situation and offer future credit towards an order. He was very understanding and truly wanted to know why I had a bad experience. As someone who works in customer service and who makes it a point to support family owned businesses I really do appreciate them going above and beyond. That alone deserves 5 stars for service. Like I said before in the review I’ve ordered from them before and it’s always been on point. Thank you for reaching out and actually wanting to fix the problem, that’s a rare find nowadays.
I’m really disappointed in Highland’s food this time which is really sad because I love this place I’ve ordered multiple times. I ordered a BLT on a gluten free wrap through Uber eats (this was in no way the drivers fault he was extremely quick and timely with the order and we do not live far from the restaurant) and let me preface this by saying I understand gluten free wraps and bread in general fall apart, but this was not the case here this wrap was clearly just thrown together with not even an ounce of care. It fell apart even with the foil which wasn’t even tightly wrapped. My boyfriend got the turkey gobbler which I understand comes with lettuce as listed on the menu but the lettuce was piled high haphazardly and almost half the sandwich was lettuce, not to mention his sandwich was also thrown together much like mine was, with little care. I think it’s worth mentioning as well the turkey is not shredded “thanksgiving” turkey meat as most gobbler subs are but deli meat you would use for a turkey club or turkey and cheese sandwich. If you’re going to spend almost 30 bucks on two sandwiches you’re going to want at least some semblance of quality. I never like to leave negative reviews especially on small businesses but now I’m out 30 dollars and still hungry. I hope this was just a bad day for Highland because usually they are...
Read moreSo I ordered from here a handful of times. I got a large order of fried raviolis witch should have came with 10 but just like every pizza place who try and cut cost they gave me 6. So whatever could be a mistake? I call the place and they were upset that I called about 4 raviolis not being in my ten piece order lol witch may sound petty but if I wanted a small I would of paid 6 bucks not 12. The guy at first was trying to hear me out and was going to send a driver out so I said that be great. He then calls back with the boss behind him on the phone and says the drivers are busy they can’t send anyone out witch is fine I guess even though that’s a blatant lie. They said only thing they can do is give me a free fried ravioli when I call next time . So I say are you sure your going to remember? they said yes! with an attitude. I call back to give this place another chance and I bring up the fried ravioli issue and they said they never said that and do not remember me lol lose a customer who spends 80 plus every order over 12 bucks. These pizza shops nowadays just don’t care anymore don’t waste your time with highland pizza, oh and by the way the pizza and everything else I ordered was cold and seemed like they had the pizza under a lamp for days don’t waste your time here there are plenty of Braintree pizza shops that actually care about...
Read moreI very rarely feel the need to leave a negative review. I live a few towns over and they dropped a menu in my mail box a few months back. First few times ordering was fine, last 3 times the quality of the food declined. Tonight we ordered a greek salad with no tomatoes. We got home to find a bucket of lettuce with 2 halfs of an onion ring and no feta. I called and was told that the greek salad only comes with feta if you ask for it (go look at the menu) I explained that it says it comes with it and that they forgot it… the women’s response was “wow… ok” as if she was used to the kitchen making simple mistakes. She hung up and then I realized the rest of the food was super greasy, sub par at best. I spoke to the manager who apologized for the other women’s response and then was asked if I wanted to come back and get new food, I explained that I live 20 minutes away and that they would no longer be seeing us weekly, they said sorry and that ended it…. Shame because if they had offered to refund or partially refund the order then I could have seen my self giving them...
