DOMINICK’S NJ BOARDWALK PIZZA — Restaurant in Branchburg Township

Terrible experience at this pizzeria. The customer service was absolutely unacceptable—both employees were completely ignorant of how to treat customers. We ordered a fresh pizza to go, but they gave us one that had clearly been sitting out since the morning. The food was awful, and the attitude was even worse. One of the workers was openly arguing with other customers and treating delivery drivers with disrespect. This place either needs to be shut down or hire people who actually care about the food, the business, and most importantly, the customers.

FYI: I’ve read other reviews and the store’s replies, and it’s clear they aren’t taking customer feedback seriously. Maybe they don’t understand English properly—if that’s the case, they shouldn’t be ignoring feedback that could help...

Absolutely Disgusting Experience

I went in to pick up an order I had placed over the phone, and when I walked in, the staff didn’t even notice me at first because they were too busy watching TV at an extremely loud volume. What I saw next was shocking — one of the workers dropped someone’s food on the floor, picked it up like it was nothing, and bagged it anyway, saying, “They’re not gonna die, five-second rule.”

That alone should be enough to turn anyone away, but on top of that, the customer service was horrible. The guy behind the counter clearly had no training or professionalism and had no clue how to properly speak to customers.

This place is unsanitary, careless, and completely unprofessional. Avoid it...

Brand new, so I will probably give them another chance...they had a lot of glitches to work out. Phones weren't working right on a Friday night, and the Slice ordering system online was not working correctly. So I ordered online for delivery, and had to go pick it up myself. And the whole process took longer than waiting to have it delivered. I paid $77 including delivery fee and tip, for a large sausage pie, 4 subs, and 5 pierogies. There was no refund or adjustment pain after waiting there for so long, the few dollars back for the adjustment wasn't worth it. Staff was nice, food was average. As I said, might be first-week jitters, so I will give them another try...
