Zero or negative stars if I could…we ordered our pizza over the phone and were told 20-25 minutes. My brother and I arrived to pick up the pizza and there was a line out the door. The hostess asked how many was in our party and I told her that we were just picking up a to go order. She said to wait in the long line in front of me…I waited for a few minutes and watched one little old lady at the counter trying to help people and answer the phone at the same time. After watching her trying to figure out what happened to the first customer at the counter without success, I wasn’t getting warm and fuzzies…. After about 5 minutes I asked the hostess if there was anybody else that could take our money and give us our pizza that I’m sure was done already and was told no, she was the only one that could help us. I told her that I had another order to pick up and would be back, she wasn’t very nice with her reply. We left and picked up our other order in Branson West and came back 15 min later and there was still a line with some of the same people in it…I again asked if there was anybody else that could help and she said that somebody called in and they were short help…even though she wasn’t doing anything at all. My brother noticed that she rolled her eyes when she was talking to me and asked her if I was annoying her and she said “To be honest, he is a little bit annoying.” Another man and his family were walking through the door during this conversation and had a little baby with him and I saw the look on his face as he joked that they would try not to be annoying…. Who says that to their customer? I don’t care who you are or where you work, if you are in customer service - you NEVER tell them that they are annoying, your job is to make their visit as comfortable and inviting as possible. I would have my hostess offering drinks, answering phones, taking payments…whatever could be done to get customers taken care of and out the door as quickly as possible. The manager of this company needs to take a customer service 101 class and then teach his/her staff. I should have gotten the hostess’ name or taken her picture but she lost at least 2 customers that night.
I’ve still never tried the pizza and may never walk through...
Read more16 days and 32 minutes. That is how long it has been since my palate was once pleasured by Ozark Mountain Pizza. Every time the sun climbs over the horizon is another day that has passed since my life was changed. I flew half way across the country to experience the midwestern dream and my life will never be the same. The crew can whip up a mean pie. The marinara sauce is such a uniquely sweet sensation that makes the ozark pizza like no other. While even the almost average of pies tasted outer-worldly, their specialty pizzas take the cake.
I am but a humble man, but if my word means anything, my top three options are:
Bacon Cheeseburger Mac n cheese Spinach Dip
My detailed recommendation and review of all three pies wouldn’t do them justice—you MUST experience them for yourself.
And last but certainly not least—the cheese bread. Never in my life has such a simplistic combination of ingredients radically rocked my mouth. The appetizer should be likened to: an opening band that actually turns out to be just as good as the headliner even though the drummer died halfway through the set. You certainly wouldn’t expect the cheesy nuggets of pleasure to steal the show, but they definitely give it a shot.
For those of you who are considering a visit to this ethereal establishment, I ask, why aren’t you already on your way? Some of us live one thousand, four hundred and fifty three miles away and wish to be in your shoes. I am not suggesting that ordering such a pie will be worth it, but I am TELLING you it will exceed every expectation you possess.
If I were to describe this pizza joint in one word it would be: super awesome. If I could give 6 stars I would. If I could give 7 stars I would. If I could give 8 stars I would. If i could give 9 stars I...
Read moreOur first time here. The pizza was great. We got hand tossed chicken bacon ranch, and a bacon. Good casual neighborhood vibe, but our server Kaci was the star. My wife and I met being opening store employees for a corporate steakhouse. We trained front of house employees and got to go on to be opening trainers at other stores, so we have high standards for what goes into great service. That being said, we still feel obligated to tip well for mediocre or sub par service sometimes because we know how hard the job is. But Kaci did something neither of us have seen before & it’s just a small thing but had a big impact. She made sure several times to tell us her name and to make sure to holler at her if we need anything at all. We’ve never had a server offer their name multiple times but it did two things. It made everyone sure we knew her name, and second that she was serious about making sure we felt comfortable letting her know if there was anything we needed. On top of that her personality shined. She had just the right amount of interaction with the table, and she was the real MVP at OMP. I hope they appreciate her because I know a lot of companies, not just in the food business, could really learn something from her level of personal and exceptional service she gave us tonight. Thank you Kaci (Sorry it that’s not how you spell it). Oh yeah, and get the...
