Olive Branch Family Diner — Restaurant in Brecknock Township

We went for a quick dinner after a long day working in the garden. Norman was our server and was very attentive as well as efficient. I ordered the chicken tenders with sweet potato fries and coleslaw, the coleslaw is amazing! My husband ordered the hamburger steak( which is basically a hamburger patty with nothing on it, and it could have been bigger!) He ordered it without gravy which Norman gave instructions and they put gravy on it anyway. My husband ordered regular fries hot and crispy, and you'll see by the picture that they were not crispy. My husband opted to eat what he was served because we had waited a long time for food because the restaurant was slammed. The atmosphere is light and airy and everyone is very friendly. Couldn't be more satisfied! Everything was absolutely delicious, service was great, and the atmosphere was pleasant! We were previously a long time Rancks customer over the years. This was a go-to establishment for a quick dinner when camping locally with our RV. We noticed the business name change a few months ago and were saddened that our go-to spot was gone. So this trip we decided to try out the new Olive Branch. We walked in and were speechless. The dated restaurant we remember was remodeled and updated! It's really beautiful seeing new life in this staple establishment. The food quality seems elevated over the original Rancks, but still had a majority of the original menu. Very pleased. I’ll preface this by saying I know they were freshly opened, so still getting the hang of things. Otherwise, I’d leave a worse rating. But you’d think for a new establishment, they’d want to put their best foot forward. The remodeling is nice and the staff was friendly. But the first thing I noticed was a DIRTY floor. Trash, food, and dirt right in the main walkway. Couldn’t walk in without seeing it. Several waitresses seemed to not have anything to do, taking breaks, chatting, eating, etc, all while the floor looked disgusting and some tables were just sitting with leftovers.
