Heav'nly Donuts — Restaurant in Brentwood

Used to come here a lot a few years ago and i used to love it but it seems the place went down hill a bit. My usual order is a bacon egg and cheese on a bagel but for whatever reason the last two times I’ve gone here the bacon is completely uncooked and gross. Seems like they’re trying to cook the bacon inside the egg mixture to save time?? Idk. But the bacon can’t cook right inside the egg and for the little amount of time that the egg is cooked. So the bacon is all white and stringy and lodged inside the egg so you can’t even remove it even you wanted to. Even asked if they could remake the sandwhich with the bacon crisper and it came out the same. Also now have a huge stomach ache and my head hurts after only taking a couple bites out of each sandwich. Usually don’t write reviews but this is the second time in a row I’ve had this experience here and probably won’t be returning for a bit. Donuts are good tho. Love me some Heavenly; just incredible breakfast sandwiches and great coffee, but this location is the worst. I prefer drive-thru over walking in however, your experience may be better if you walk in. Staff are poorly trained (not their fault, but the manager's) and constantly getting my order wrong. How many drive-thru restaurants are there that must take your order twice - once at the speaker, and then again at the window because they have no idea which order you are....? Just this one Heavenly location. This is why they get orders wrong and why walking in will likely provide a better experience. Quality of food is inconsistent as well - you might get a fresh and tasty bagel, or it could be a stale left over. Finally, the amount I pay seems to change despite ordering the same thing every time. I used to love this place but I have had many bad experiences lately. One time they gave me the wrong bagel for my sandwich, so I returned it and they remade the sandwich. The sandwich was right this time except the bagel was burnt. I didn't complain because I had to go. They didn't compensate be at all for the wrong bagel.

Another time I went I got the boston creme muffin because they were out of the donut. All it is is a plain muffin with chocolate frosting and almost no filling on the inside.
