I would give negative infinity if it were possible. Mcdonald's itself has consistently declined in quality, service, atmosphere, and affordability. This particular location has repeatedly left out items from our orders. I've tried to call before to resolve order issues, but they don't care and make it extremely difficult on tge customer. Furthermore, they put a lock on the restroom doors. It's impossible, as a paying customer, to get someone's attention in order to obtain the code. They want to automate as much as possible (kiosk ordering, apps, etc), cutting down on paying jobs, and then lock you out with no available employees to assist customers. The kiosk prices do not match the live menu prices. The "food" is very sloppily slapped together. It's getting more expensive and smaller, low quality portions. And that's if you actually receive all your food. They rush you through, often making you park to wait for drive through orders. This makes it challenging to request condiments and, moreso, check your order. Even if you check or need something, you have to go in the store and wait an excessive amount of time for assistance. Now, the slop you did receive is coagulated and disgusting. Yet, by making the customer park and WAIT, it gives the false appearance of fast service times in their drive through. Due to convenience, we ordered from the drive through again today on our way to an out of town event. We had no time to return upon realizing that some of our paid items were missing. Once again, Mcdonald's wins by changing excessive prices for sloppy filler "food" while omitting some of the most expensive paid items from our order. I think we'll take our changes finding vending machines (which are often daulty but more reliable than McD's) or whatever we come across than spending our money here just to only receive partial orders of high priced...
Read moreI went during the tail end of lunch rush to make a $20 order. They were really swamped so my friend and I waited 50 minutes without saying anything until they were way less busy. We went up to the counter after seeing on the screen that our order wasnt even in progress. At this point there we less than 10 people in the mcdonalds. So we asked if there was any progress on the order, at first we were met with confusion as they were trying to figure out whatever happened. Then, after the lady I initially asked said there was nothing she could do, including refund my money. After saying we had been waiting almost an hour she started claiming that, that was impossible even though we told her the sequence of events, including our patient silent waiting. After doubling down that we did wait that amount of time, and stating that I wanted either a refund, or my food, she became very angry. She started raving that they couldnt/wouldnt do anything for us. Eventually after lots of back and forth, with myself becoming less understanding the more angry she became, she finally yelled “whatever” and stormed off. A few minutes later she stomped back to the front a slammed a bag of food along with my drink cup on the counter. Overall I hated the experience and the service. I will NOT be...
Read moreMcDonald's has really gone downhill, and that's saying something. My biggest issue is that, while I never really counted on quality from "Mickie-D's" I knew I could get something fast and very cheap.
Nowadays, I don't feel they deliver on either of those things. I understand inflation and other factors contribute to their now much higher prices, but why is it that I have to spend more at McDonalds then On-n-Oit these days? The quality and freshness doesn't compare, yet I leave places that used to be considered more "premium" feeling like I got a steal in comparison.
On top of this, my recent excursions have involved waiting WAAAY too long in the drive thru line, and multiple errors on my orders. For example I ordered a McChicken with added tomatoes, and they added (nasty) bacon wafers instead (Is it even real bacon? I almost don't want to know).
Long story short, I'm giving 2 stars, could probably give 1 star to be honest. Would not recommend unless you have no...
