Stopped here on the way back home for a 'U.P. Cheese/Fish lunch'. The store has a lot to offer, from smoked fish to fresh cheese and other assorted general goods. Hot food can be had as we noticed a couple of guys finishing their lunch inside. Just about everything is expensive, but that's to be expected up north in a tiny town (if you can call it a town). We bought some fresh cheese and a box of pretzel crackers -- best lunch of the trip! While there was smoked fish, nothing really appealed to me: I didn't notice any salmon. The people were friendly and we ate out front on their benches. Will come again.

Great service very friendly. Talked about the history of the Kings family. Food was amazing. Some of the best white fish I've had In some time. Fries were fresh cut and I ate all of them. I'm not a French fry person but there was none left. Large portions of food leave you full. We will be back for more choices. Building is top notch very clean super selection of odd sodas witch are very good. It's set up as an old marine museum. Very cool old stuff. Lots of choices make it not easy to pick what you want.

This place is a restaurant also. I had the Wall-eye for the first time. It was pretty good. The rest of the meals looked okay. The kids enjoyed it. We also bought some fresh cheese which was really good. They had beef sticks to sample and they were really good. Of course, we had to buy some souvenirs. Oh, and there were lots of antiques; mostly fishing related.

Last Thursday we had to make an emergency stop at their Market. They called 911 and escorted us to the closest hospital in St.Ignace. Dr. Strich and staff were so prompt and thorough in their process. They were exceptional. We were transported to the University of Michigan Hospital where we quickly received life and death diagnosis followed by critical treatment ASAP. Six days later my wife is still getting the much needed plasma phoresis exchanges. We will be here a while, but have nothing but praise and thankfulness for those that have saved my wife’s life. We thank God for you Michiganites.🙏🏻. I will be able to take her home with me. Very thankful for our...

I'm partial to the smoked fish from the North Shore of Lake Superior in my home state of Minnesota, but we stopped here a few days ago, and I gotta say it's some of the best smoked fish I've EVER had! We bought a container of smoked Trout bites and after we ate our first pieces in the car, I immediately went back inside and bought three more containers! So good! I've also never had Chub before and their smoked chubs are absolutely delicious! We also bought a whole smoked Whitefish and smoked Trout fillet we can't wait to try! Their smoked fish definitely gives Minnesota smoked fish a run for it's money. I highly recommend and I'm going to be very sad when we...
