This place has went to pot! They have skyrocketed the prices, cheapened up the portions. Their service turnover time is much slower. They removed the ring game. They shut down the bulk ice machine for coolers. I have went twice this year. I will not go a third time. The first time my ice cream rolled right off the cone onto the gravel as the employee handed it to me. There was no offer to replace the cone. . they sell a double dip cone for over 6.00 and it is smaller then last year's single dip. I went again this evening to give them another try. I waited behind 8 people for over 45 minutes to get my order. It was even smaller then before. This place has become so cheap you actually have to ask for napkins. I live in Raleigh, North Carolina, but grew up in Elk Lake Pennsylvania. I’ve been down south now more than I have been up north (don’t hold that against me 😂) I used to go here when I was a kid and as a teenager in the 80’s. I watched the baseball games across from it, when they had baseball games back in the day. They have the BEST soft serve ice cream. The chocolate and vanilla twist is my favorite!
