Nick & Angelo's Pizza Place — Restaurant in Bridgewater

I have been a customer of this pizza shop for longer than I'd like to admit. However, it has been a while. Retuning here for a quick lunch one day was a great choice. The food was about as close to perfect as you could want from a pizza place. The pizza had an excellent cheese to sauce ratio and the underside was cooked crispy without being burnt. The buffalo chicken on the salad was tender and plentiful. The fries were crispy and the chocolate chip cookies was dense, soft, full of chocolate chips and big enough to share. The customer service was also great. The inside has plenty of seating and is the expected pizza shop vibe with a nice view of the cranberry bogs. The food quality is ok your basic local sub shop. Service is good. Here’s the problem, they have 5-7 people making food. Not one single person is wearing gloves. So their touching everything with the barehands and that’s not sanitary. I’m surprised board of health hasn’t got them on that. Certain foods you don’t need gloves for, uncooked pizza and toppings, raw red meat, but cold cuts, bread, and anything that’s cooked you need gloves. I was watching these guys cut up subs bare handed, make cold cut subs bare handed, and touching cooked pizza bare handed. Honestly go here twice a week and give them my business. Tonight I order my usual steak and cheese and my wife’s Italian. I asked for small steak and cheese toasted. That’s it, and I get one with pepper onions and mushrooms! I call and let them know I got the wrong sub, and not only that I’m allergic to mushrooms. The girl apologized and asked if there is anything they can do and I said yes I’ll bring this back and I just want a reg steak and cheese. She then continues to tell me well I can’t do that because it’s 825 and our grills are off. Like seriously come on!
