If it weren’t for the absolutely miserable, short tempered hostess I would leave a 5 star review. The food was good, our waitress Teri was more than amazing— so patient, so friendly and extremely accommodating. We loved her! But from the moment our party of 6 walked in on a Friday night the older blonde hostess (I believe her name may have been Ruth) was borderline harassing my two children (ages 7 & 11). We had a 25 minute wait, in which my children, all things considered, were very patient and seated but bouncing on their bottoms on the couches— because they’re CHILDREN. She made us feel as if my very typical children were wild baboons. She kept scolding them before us as parents, even had a moment to intervene, by telling them to “stop jumping on the furniture”— as if they were on two feet jumping up and down. Not to mention, when my 7 year old daughter made two trips to the bathroom during our dinner, she said that each time she was being uncomfortably stared at by her. Again when we were leaving, and paying our bill, my son sat on the couch and was bouncing on his bottom again (mind you, he is diagnosed adhd) she felt the need to scold him once more. It’s really a shame that someone like that is left to be the first, and the last impression of this establishment. The worst part being we are locals, and not tourists. It would be scary to think how she’d act if my children were actually “out of control”. Four out of the six in our dinner party have 20+ years experience in the food service industry, I’d highly recommend she be given some customer...

Having been.in.the restaurant a half a dozen.times in.last year . Ive gotten appetizers on take out , while meeting my old boss to be paid ! Never got Neal's here,.

HIRE A GR8 COOK ! the burger & fries was amazing however the pizza was disgusting & mostly tomatoes no cheese, though.i requested light sauce only no.veggies ? As well we got 2 orders of cheese sticks = idk why they came in 1 container ,half were good n cridpy & the 2nd half were soggy . Chicken fingers and fries , soggy fries & overcooked but edible . Lastly .. i Ordered simple White rice& chicken no veggies.(* & definitely didnt want no xtremlt odd twists on regular food)added Came with.alot of veggies = the dog enjoyed his dinner &.. I. Ate my.soggy.cheese sticks . As I specifically ordered no veggies .(* the Girl read the menu item & saying OK mo veggies .

Though i.was wicked PISSY about alot of our food I'd ordered, .overall I was Thankfull my husband's burger was the best part of everything we ordered. Moreso because it was his 1st solid food he could eat in a month, following his stroke .

So there's that part that was awsome.!!

Undecided if well retry yalls take out service. Again it'd he nice for a manager or where to return the messages I left

I called back next day explaining situation.& was rushed off phone & told someone would call me back . Day after I called at 8pm . It's now been. A few weeks ,since .

My only takeaway...

Wonderful place to have lunch or dinner. Sit at the bar if you're by yourself and pretty soon you will make some new friends...if you enjoy chatting with strangers. If you would rather be left alone there are several small tables to enjoy your meal by yourself. The Bar staff is extremely friendly and helpful letting you know what's good to drink if you're looking for something new. Table service for the restaurant is just as amazing with tentative wait staff. The overall atmosphere is relaxed and enjoyable. The food was great. The steak was cooked to perfection and the flavor was amazing. The choices of menu items made it hard to decide because they all sounded so tasty and everything coming out of the kitchen to other tables looked wonderful. Prices are very comparable to other restaurants, the food quality and quantity are extremely impressive, very clean throughout, wonderful staff, and an abundance of parking. The bathrooms were clean and well-stocked. I would recommend calling ahead for dinner since it can get busy fast, especially during certain times of the year. I've been several times now and wait time varies. Sometimes you can walk right in while other times we've had to wait 45 minutes. After checking their website they also have special things they do such as trivia night. Make reservations for a large group or stop by and grab a seat at the bar.
