We had a soccer party for our 1st graders here, about 6 kids and 7 parents. The waitress Laura was incredibly rude to most of the parents and children through out. For starters, as more parents arrived, we tried to slide another table over to where we were sitting, Laura ran over to us to tell us no, that she needed that table for other customers. There were ZERO other customers in the building. We instead picked up our waters, belongings and etc and moved to a different table. In an effort to keep this review at a manageable length, I will not list the many other very rude offenses from Laura (there are many) but instead describe the incident that caused me to leave the restaurant with the party being only halfway over. I was allowing my 18 month toddler to walk around and explore the dinning room, like kids her age like to do. By now there were about 3 other tables of customers. My 18 month old bothered no one and stayed away from any off limits areas. I walked directly behind her to ensure she would not get in anyone's way. The waitress Laura breezed past me while throwing over her shoulder "she can't be in here", I responded "what was that?" Thinking I misheard her but she continued on without response. A few minutes later when she returned to the dining room, I approached her with my daughter and asked if she had said my 18 month old couldn't be in the dining room. She responded "no, I can't have her in my way." I asked her if she was seriously going to tell my 18 month old that she couldn't walk around the dining room and she responded "no, I expect YOU to control your child." Yes. Control my toddler, from harmlessly walking around a family restaurant. I asked for her name, she said "really?" I said yes really, you have been completely inappropriate all night. She told me her name, and I asked for a manager. She said there was no manager available. I asked when there would be one available. She didn't know. I returned to my table, where the other parents were shocked I was told my daughter couldn't walk around this family restaurant that several of them frequent. So, I am now trying to force my toddler to sit in a chair, she starts crying (which she wasn't doing prior) so I pick her up. She starts signaling she wants down but I can't put her down because she will walk around. She starts crying again. I then have to ask a fellow soccer mom to care for my 6 year old while I take my toddler home since she is not allowed to walk around a family restaurant. I left before i could eat, but left my card with another mother to cover a portion of the bill. I spoke with another waiter, Cameron, before leaving. He took down my information and assured me I would receive a call from the owner. I even offered to come down and speak with him in person, as I was genuinely mortified with my terrible experience. No call, no follow up. I will not be returning here, and the other parents said the same. Laura should not be working at a family restaurant geared towards families...
Read morePaid $25 for a burnt pizza. Horrible customer service after this happened! They told me I could drive back to pick up another pizza and they could not refund my money. Said how disappointed I was that they would even put this burnt pizza in the box in the first place. Never once mentioned a mix up with another customer ordering an âextra crispyâ pizza. And even if they did, itâs only half âcrispyâ, so you didnât even get that right! When I got back my pizza was ready but the guy was rude and told me he did not want to look at my picture of the burnt pizza. The manager was extremely rude when she came out. I asked to have my pizza refunded or a gift card for a future pizza. She told me she already gave me a âfree pizzaâ, meaning my burnt pizza and she would NOT offer me a gift card or refund. I had to drive back and forth twice for my original order.
After I left the restaurant, she left me a voicemail saying that she felt sorry and she wanted to make it right and that I should call the restaurant back to give them my address to send a gift card. I already drove twice to pick up my original pizza order and now you want me to do more and call you back. Should have done the right thing in the first place Brier Pizza! Horrible customer service! Iâm definitely not ordering from you again so you can keep...
Read moreYou would think that being the only restaurant in town would mean that they would cut corners and make less good food simply because they don't have too. However, Brier Pizza has top notch specialty pizzas (including gluten free options) Seafood (haven't had it yet) Good Pasta, and oddly enough amazing greek food. The restaurant is also charming with a nice outdoor seating area, and lots of room. We have never had to wait long for a table despite always being busy.
Update: Ive been here a handful of times post pandemic, and the pizza is less good than it used to be. The past few times the bottom of my pizza has been soggy when I have picked it up, and this past time my pizza with banana peppers had the stem of the banana pepper on a piece still. At their current high prices I was disappointed. I won't let a few sub optimal experiences drop my review by much, but I really hope these have...
