Pirates Den — Restaurant in Brigantine

I visited pirates den in July 4th weekend and a group of 5 families spent time. The first night we had no lights in our C- class but, then were had no freezer nor refrigerator from that first night to the last day at pirates den. It was not only us having electric issues A/C issues for all of us. So, I called the manager and talk about customer service (Trish) not at all even when she acknowledged that the park has issues with their electricity she even lied to me saying that they were completely full which in space 50 was empty the entire time along with other spaces being unoccupied and even to that people were packing up and leaving it was that bad. The kicker of it all is we pulled in our electric at our home from July 6th too today and we have the coldest refrigerator and freezer. The best part is that she didn't even give me the correct receipt when I told my credit card it was on another person bill. How stupid can you be. Thank God I knew this person and was in my group. I would highly yes, highly would not again I say I highly would not recommend this park to anyone in the summer months and the lack of customer service. I am a trainer for a call center and if one of our agents gave service like Trish they would be talked to and dismissed from work. Stay away folks. We all booked another location for July 4th weekend all 5 families. I saw all of the good reviews for this place so I decided to take the family on the last day of our vacation to brigantine. We got there late for breakfast, at around 10:40. We were seated right away but at the only table that was directly in the sun. Didn't think it would be that big of a deal at the time but wish I would have asked to be placed at one of the other tables. We were greeted by our waitress pretty quickly and put drink orders in. Two chocolate milks for the kids, a water for me and coffee for the wife. We got the chocolate milks and the coffee but got no straws. I had to take them from another table. We eventually got the eaters a few minutes later. We then placed our food order. We were then told they were out of waffles, out of all sausage except turkey sausage, and were also out of the cinnamon chips that were supposed to be in my backup order after I found out the waffles were gone. We then proceeded to wait an hour for our food to come out. The waitress continued to apologize for the wait which I know was not her fault. We finally get our food at about 11:45. It's at that point I then realize we had no silverware. So had to wait for the busboy to bring out something to eat with. The food we eventually got was okay but nothing worth waiting an hour for. It may have just been a fluke day where things were not up to their normal standards but I was disappointed with the overall...

Hadn’t been here for a long time , we used to come here with my family and it was always a good meal. It was just my husband and myself tonight and we were both very disappointed. We ordered a side salad which consisted of some lettuce and one slice of onion ring and two grape tomatoes. We ordered soup which was overcooked but ok. My husband ordered the fried flounder ,scallops and shrimp platter which was all frozen food , tasted similar to Mrs. Pauls fish sticks. I ordered the crabcake and stuff shrimp and potato. The potato, crabcake , and one stuffed shrimp was good . Neither one of us ate our coleslaw or applesauce as we feared we would get sick later after one bite. Our dinner also came with a choice of pudding which my husband tempted the fates and got the rice pudding and coffee which were the highlight of his meal. The waitress was OK, not extremely friendly ,don’t know her name because she never introduced herself. The runners serving the food were very friendly. One other comment because I don’t wanna say too many bad things but the food came out so quickly that one can only think everything was getting reheated in the microwave before it was served.Sorry to say we will...
