My wife and I look for locally owned "mom and pop" restaurants and diners/deli's to purchase our "on the road" lunches. We had two excellently prepared sandwiches by this little shop today, Saturday, July 30, 2016. I had the "Raven" and my wife had an Italian sandwich. I asked for and received my special prep requests. Both sandwiches were delicious and we were given "generous" proportions. If you are a person who prefers McDonald's-type atmosphere and ambiance, you should continue to patronize McDonald's. If you want a great sandwich and want to support a family who are not Millionaires (like the McDonald's owners), give this little Deli a try! It is not "fast food". Everything is homemade and to order. If it takes a bit longer for your order, that's why. Extremely PROFESSIONAL staff. Extremely clean establishment. If you want crap fast prepared food, go somewhere else. This Deli is one of the very few left in the USA that does it like they do. This is my favorite place to stop every time we go through little Atlanta. We have been coming here for years and have never been disappointed!
The sandwiches are made fresh when you order, and yes, it can take a bit of time, but the wait is worth it! We wouldn't have it any other way!
You can customize and sandwich to your liking, get them hot or cold, grab some potato salad or devile eggs as well.
