We got together with our friends today. Both of us had our kids with us today and wanted lunch. Decided to visit your restaurant. As we walked in the door saw a sign that said no young children or babies. Saw no age limit... our kids were 13 and older so we came in and sat down. Your bartender came and told us immediately no young kids. We said they are not young and continue to enjoy our time and meal. Continue to see customers walk in with kids and the bartender continously told the customers your rule. Not one time did i see anyone young or babies.. mostly kids older 10 or older i am guessing than that. I am so glad your bartender is so concern of the sign and rule instead of giving good customer service. Her attitude was horrible towards us and glared at our kids. Needless to say i am upset that all your bartender cares about the rule. Too bad she did not concentrate on her customer service and maybe sound cheery or even smile. she even stopped waiting on a customer and tell a another customer that had older kids the rule. Oh my goodness lucky you have singles that come and couples. Have a great day... oh wait good idea..teach some manners and respect to...
Read moreBurgers are really good. Self serve popcorn good too. Fries not so much. We wore our masks entering the restaurant and everyone in the restaurant looked at us like we were aliens. Immediately felt like outsiders and that we didn’t belong there. Sat down at a table way in the corner to social distance ourselves. No one had masks on not even the bartender or the cook and server (same person). Waited a while for our food and didn’t get our fries and so we politely reminded the cook about the fries. We finally got them and they were kind of just tossed on our table. We said thank you and got no response back. The place got busier as time went by until it was packed which is when we felt it was even less safe to be there as the tables were less than six feet apart and once again, no masks were worn. This place must mostly cater to the small community of Bristol, IL and immediate surrounding communities. No kids allowed posted on the front door but nothing about wearing a mask. Just a wired vibe in this place. As good as the burgers were we don’t think...
Read moreI give the Bristol Tap 4 stars because I did not expect much from this run of the mill, hole in the wall bar (that we often seek out) but this one surprised. No fancy bells or whistles or scantily clad waitresses or bar maids to wait on you or even an endless food menu ,but what they did have was a location off of the beaten path in a quiet neighborhood with a very friendly atmosphere. They have a short simple menu (No french fries) that boasts an AWESOME burger making the visit well worth it. Also there is fresh popcorn being made continously that you serve yourself while you wait for your food. They only accept cash but there is an ATM on the premises for your use. No servers to take your order but will bring your food and drinks to your table once you placed your order at the bar. OK place and...
