I used to love this place until not long ago. Going thru the drive thru is the only way to go here now. Always nice people working the drive thru when I come in to eat always problems. Went not long ago and the cashier was sitting with an employee at the tables and took his time talking before coming to help my boyfriend and I order. While standing there to order our feet were sticking to the floor because of all the soda that was spilled. There was also another guy in line we had let go before us since he looked to be in a rush. He had paid with a large bills which the cashier didnt have change for which is fine but said let me get a manager and walked over to the drive thru window where the manager was busy and started joking and laughing with another coworker instead of saying give the manager a minute she is busy and totally ignored that we were all standing there. While this was happening my boyfriend had asked him a question he looked right at him and ignored him and then continued to talk to the other employee. If you look under the photo I posted the photos of the nasty soda fountain station and as you can see the employee was grabbing a quick drink and didnt even feel the need to clean that area. The soda residue is so thick you can see it on the machine. It wasnt until they saw me taking pictures after we got out order did the other employee attempted to sweep which the photo with the tables also uploaded on here is after he swept. I will no longer eat in after this experience especially when the manager didnt seem to have a care...
Read moreFood is supposed to be sustenance. A ration. A checkpoint that restores health before the next battle. At its best, Taco Bell can serve that role—a quick save, hot, salty, indulgent. But at this Bristol location, the mission collapsed.
After eating here, I was not restored. I was not replenished. I was destabilized. What should have been a simple meal became an act of sabotage. Within hours, my body reacted as if it had been injected with a designer virus—crippling, uncontrollable, a system override from within. Not the catharsis of spice, but the punishment of failure.
In Metal Gear Solid, FOXDIE was invisible, silent, yet absolute in its consequences. The aftermath of this meal was no different. Extreme diarrhea, relentless and consuming. I did not feel like a soldier preparing for the next encounter. I felt like Raiden strapped into torture, unable to move, only endure.
Food should never feel like bioweaponry. It should never feel like betrayal. Here, it did. The staff may be polite, the service may be quick, but the product itself was compromised—quality so poor it became hostile.
One star. Not for taste. Not for speed. But for outcome. Because survival is the ultimate metric. And after eating here, I felt less like I had consumed a meal… and more like I had survived a...
Read moreIt was crowded at lunch time. We used the computer kiosk for the first time. We didn't really know what we were doing. My friend made his selection first. Then I touched a picture of a burrito and the next screen should have shown options for what I wanted in it, but that screen went away before I could choose. I tried to edit the order but it didn't show me the same customize screen. So I just decided to go with it thinking that I would get some kind of standard burrito. And I did. But it was just beans and cheese and sour cream. It was very mushy and impossible to pick up. And it was cold. Also it took ages to be ready. Went back to order something else, and that also took ages. Finally my friend went to check and someone was calling the name on the order but in such a soft voice that you could only hear her if you were standing right next to her. At least the food was better in the 2nd order. I think the kiosk is good if you eat at Taco Bell a lot and know their menu well (not me) and want to make specific customizations. But it took longer than my previous TB experiences. Also as we were standing there, someone had ordered from the app(?), and their order had vanished completely. Hopefully this Taco Bell can streamline their ordering process and make fast...
