The store is very clean and a friendly country atmosphere, major plus. I ordered the Willie Boom Breakfast. The lady making the food made me feel at home and welcomed. I did not wait very long at all (MAJOR PLUS) and then I had my food brought to me. Appearances, the food looked very appealing and met my standards. Now comes the true test. The eggs were perfect. Sausage is just as amazing. The biscuits were as if my grandmother made them. The bacon was perfectly done. The gravy, which was my make or break concern, met and exceeded my expectations. The menu is fairly large, which can be a problem at smaller restaurants, but Tootie's fare is on the simple side and the menu is made up of Southern lunch counter staples.
Prices are very good, and you get a lot of food for what you pay. I had a breakfast of two massive pancakes, two eggs cooked to order, hashbrowns, and two sausage patties. The meal was reasonably priced at around $6, and tasted great. Some of the items seemed to be from prepackaged stock, but they didn't taste that way.
