Mid Lake Money Pit — Restaurant in Broaddus

Saw this was a new and wanted to give it a shot. Over all interior and exterior not much to say for decoration or character ( but who cares is new , bbq and Bidenomics is hard on everyone) ordered a simple Pulled pork sandwich. Put the extra spicy bbq sauce on it. Buns were tosted perfectly and over all temp was perfect. Flavor was good and was a good lunch to finish the ride home. Note if you get to go they don't put any sauce on anything for you. Make sure you ask for some or put it on at the station before you leave they have 4 flavors I believe. They have some other things burgers, loaded fries, corndogs ect. I'd definitely stop here again for a quick bite. Paid 13 bucks for the sandwich and a large drink. Went in today for the CoC ribbon cutting at lunch. Clean, open/airy, proper decor. Food on point. I opted for a 2 meat plate, which came with a drink, 2 sides (I chose mustard potato salad and beans; the beans were done with bacon, onion, and red sweet peppers, which were sweet and tangy) and 2 pieces of white bread. Condiments (sauces, picked, onions, tomatoes, jalapeños) were all self-serve.

Brisket was fall-apart tender, and the link sausage was that proper blend of meaty and fatty without being greasy, nicely seasoned. I paid $17 and change for my 2-meat plated lunch and there was plenty enough of everything to pack up a takeaway for later on.

Okay folks - I'm trying to get Google to fix the location on the map; #1.

I was in the restaurant on Friday night for some chopped beef sandwiches & I was blown away by how neat it was in there, after being a gas station, hardware store & whatever else had been there. The floors were clean & it felt open & inviting. The waitstaff were phenomenally friendly & answered my questions, 1 after the next.
