Delicious Restaurant — Restaurant in Brockton

I’ve never had an issue with the service. Staff are very polite and professional (better than most caribbean restaurants you go to). One time I went with my husband and sat down to wait for our food and I enjoyed the atmosphere (the art, decor, family feel, and Haitian music videos playing on the big flat screen tv).

The only downside i would have to say is the food. My favorite thing to get is the legume with white rice and sos pwa nwa (black bean sauce). It always comes with a side of fried plaintains and some potato salad. I’m not picky/bougie when it comes to food at restaurants at all. But the past 2 times when I ordered, the potato salad tasted like it was going bad because of being improperly stored. It smelled sour, like it sat out overnight. Highly likely that it wasn’t made that same day and both times I ordered it on a weekend day in the early afternoon. The plaintains also were cold so I had to put them in my air fryer. The legume tasted ok but that had a weird smell to it too and I had to quickly put the leftovers in the fridge because it would’ve gone bad if I left it out much longer. Plus there were only 2 pieces of beef and I ended up cooking my own meat to fully enjoy it lol. Maybe they got a new chef in the past few months? I ordered a fish plate as I’ve done before. When eating I noticed the fish had an odd smell after tasting it had an unpleasant taste. It clearly was not fresh. I flipped the fish around and it was soggy and soaked in oil, the beans were cold. I don’t understand how I was served old nasty food when I was told 20 minutes. I arrived and still waited an additional 20 minutes.

I called the restaurant to inform them of the issue. I was told that they only sell fresh fish and the owner was not there and to come to the restaurant, so they can taste it! Like What?! however it was not guaranteed that they would be able to replace the order or give me a refund. A total joke! The audacity for them to tell me they want to taste it instead correcting it.

It’s unfortunate they do not value their customers, Very poor customer services. Needless to say money wasted! Just avoid...

I love Haitian food and the only thing I order here is the Fritay with goat. I’ve been here numerous amounts of times but there is definitely some bad things about this place. First off I ordered food for pickup while I was on the highway and he said in 20 minutes and gave him a name when I arrived and asked for my food to pickup he then tells the person my order and didn’t even give me my food forced me to wait another 20 minutes just for my food that’s some bull. And the person upfront was looking miserable as if I he didn’t want anything to do with me he wouldn’t talk to me look at me or notninh he would simply ignore me .
