Domino's Pizza — Restaurant in Broken Arrow

Unfortunately this evening I have to rate this store very low. Both my wife and I work in the food industry and know and understand what customer service is about, in the past this Dominos location has been a exceptionally reliable pizzeria. Tonight at 20:09 we ordered a very simple pizza ( large, hand tossed, extra cheese, mushroom and black olive to be delivered. Shortly after 21:00 hours my wife called Dominos to ask about the pending delivery. (Its just under 3.6 miles), my wife gave our I formation to the young man, (Tyler Berry)several times and was put on hold several times. After several minutes I myself called Dominos and the phone was answered Mr. Berry, I told him that my wife was the one on hold and that we would like an answer as to when our order would be delivered. Mr. Berry became confused and transferred me to his manager, Mr David Higgins, Mr Higgins answered the phone with a heavy chip on his shoulder, stated that I had threatened his employee and inquired what he could do to be of assistance. I explained that we would like to have a time of delivery of our order. Mr. Higgens stated that he was unable to give us a time of delivery but that our order had been received and was in the process of being made. My wife and I are both the food service industry and are fully aware of miscommunications within a facility tu y but what it boiled down to was that Mr. Berry was unable to state the that there was a problem or offer a solution. It appears to me that Mr Berry has minimal experience in customer service and needs further training on Verbal communication with his clientele. Such a sad situation. I had placed an order through the app for delivery. Used the 20% offer since it was an online delivery order. Unfortunately for me, the app chose a store that was outside of my delivery area. I was watching the pizza tracker and was waiting for the notification that my pizza was on it's way. Then I saw that it was cancelled. I called the store and that's when I was told they were outside of my delivery area. They were going to call the local store and send my order over. All I would need to do is call them with my card information. I waited a few minutes to give the one store time to call the other. When I called in to give my card information for payment, I was asked to wait for the manager to get on the phone with me. She then proceeded to tell me that she would not honor the 20% off since I didn't place the order online. I told her that my original order had been placed online and it was not my fault the Domino's app chose the wrong store to send my order to. I felt that she should have honored by original order with the 20% off coupon. She then said that since it wasn't an online order she wouldn't be able to honor it. At that point I was frustrated because I should have already had my order if it had been the correct store. I ordered online and I ordered cheesy bread and pasta. Ordering online was super easy and convenient and had a tracker to know when it would be here. The website also has a review section for after you get your order where you can rate your experience with the website, driver, and how your pizza was cooked. The driver came way faster than I expected and all the food was hot. The only thing wrong was that I had pasta in a dish and not a bread bowl like I thought I ordered so I mentioned that in the review section of the website and just a couple minutes later I got a phone call from the manager and he explained that the coupon code I used doesn't include the bread bowl but still apologized and said he would put me down for one on my next order. Does service get any better than that!? This is also my favorite pizza place as far as taste. Always perfectly cooked with a buttery/garlic taste. There prices are also not bad at all. Maybe a little more than say a 5 dollar pizza but not by much and the service and quality is worth every...
