I was really hungry and thirsty. Being that I had a 24 hour layover I didn't need to worry about FMCSA regulations. Ralph my buddy recommended this place due to the pizza and generous drinks. To be honest, I was pretty disappointed about the pizza but it was on friday. As is it turns out they fire the wood oven on Saturdays and use the electric the other days (I think). Don't get me wrong. The pizza was good just not good as Ralph had described. So we got another layover day and we came for a last hurrah before we have to be good boys and work. Now it is Saturday and the pizza is out of this world good. It is not good, it is just New York great. We had the pepperoni and the house specialty. Absolutely delicious. But just gotta make sure you get it when they fire up the brick oven. As for the drinks, the selection is worthy of a rock star. You wont find everything, but you will find what you need, top quality too. Excellent service, great prices, and a genuine old fashion Americana bar with perfect pizza. It really doesn't get much better than this.
