I worked a early morning shift that started at 3:30am to 11am. I get off and decided to go to Culver's for food. Im tired and could use a small meal. The person that took my order had a nice tone and waited while i looked at the menu. I end up ordering a Value Basket. I ordered the butter burger option and made it a double when she asked did i want a double but she failed to ask me is if i wanted a small (what i expected) or regular. When she told me my totally that came out to $18...im like damn that alot but oh well i thought thats just the proce of it now. The prices dont show some reason smh. But i get my food and it is fresh. I eat the cheese curds first and then my fries on my way home (15mins from this place) i get home ready to take a bite of my burger and its slabs of BACON on it. Religious purposes, I DONT EAT BACON...I DIDN'T ASK FOR BACON so im very tired and now frustrated become i got to drive all the way back (because their phone line is to busy for them to answer tried calling them like 5x) but i had to drive all the way back another 15mins (wasted 30mins of my time so far because someone is not good at readingthe tickets) to complain. I asked to talk to a manager. She approaches, and i explain as calmly as i can what happened. She said "you not even suppose to get bacon" she does some number punching and makes me a new one. She apologizes but it doesn't sound sincere. She gives me a number to wait (again) for my number to be called. And then i started thinking "how much is a value basket?" Because that last i checked it was at a value price. Why did i pay 18 dollars. I tried to get that manager attention again because she walking passed me (i was at the soda fountain) i had to say excuse me twice to get her attention. There was another lady at the counter complaining about her meal. I asked her i don't see the prices how much is what i got because again like i mentioned before i remember getting a small meal. Should of been under the 10 range plus cheese curds. 🤔 I told her the person that took my order failed to give me a choice in a regular or small. She said we just changed it so if you don't ask for small we will automatically do the regular (oh now im realizing why i paid to much) i told her "I dont know you changed that rule and its you guys job to tell me, she asked me if i wanted a double why cant she ask if i want it a small or regular size?" She did a face and shook her head up and down like "i get your point". I am so frustrated. I couldn't relax. For a bit at home before i picked my daughter up from school no! I had to deal with this first so i just end up going to my daughters school early. I should of got my money back. But i just won't be going to this location again. I don't like how it was handled at all. I wrote this review in their parking lot AND did...
Read moreListen. I love Culver's. But this location has for the last couple of years disappointed me every time I've gotten food from them. Something goes wrong every single time. The breaking point for me now was tonight, I had an online order put in, we got all the food fine, but they forgot the custard. No big deal, we just asked the runner about it, he had no idea that it was on the ticket. Forgivable, he's not making the order. He goes back in, we wait for 15 minutes and no one has come back yet. We go in, runner is cleaning the dining room, no one at the register. I suspect he just didn't tell anyone. Cool, thanks for the help, buddy. In the end it's taken 40 minutes to get everything, from an online order. I understand being busy, I've worked in food and customer service, but the situation here is legitimately unacceptable from anyone who has any semblance of how to do quick easy business. No other culver's has messed up like this one. I won't be returning. Unreal. Big L...
Read moreThis is the worst Culver's. I visit this location from time to time, since my office is super close. Sub par food more times than not. This lunch hour, however, took the cake. I ordered a chicken snack basket in the drive thru. I should have paid attention when the intercom voice asked if I had a preference of white or dark meat. I said dark and he responded that they just had white. I was in a hurry so I said, fine. I drove to the window and paid. The window guy gave me a styro foam box. No bag. Nothing. It didn't feel hot to the touch either. I got back to my office, opened the container and the chicken was OLD. So were the fries. It definitely wasn't made to order. At least my order. It looked and tasted like it was made to order for another customer about 2 hours ago. Disgusting. I will never go back to that location, EVER. Waste of money. I can always count on excellent food and service with integrity at the Culver's in Shorewood. That's where I will take...
