Nanny's Diner — Restaurant in Brookhaven

I ordered 4 hamburgers at 5:25 and they said they would be ready in 30 minutes . 6:05 I arrive and they said sorry it wasn’t ready be another 45 minutes so me being me and understanding things happen like that sometimes I said no problem I’ll wait . 7:00 arrives and they say we are fixing to start cooking it now , so I said keep your food I’ll go elsewhere . Also they don’t accept debit or credit cards so are they outdated or just possible tax evasion? I will never go back and I will highly recommend the same...

I’ve been coming here since 2009. The service and people that have worked here are always kind. The food excellent. This is the only restaurant left in Monticello. And it’s worth the 12-mile drive from Monticello. The prices are fair.
