Ambiance with a View: Stepping into Hunter Creek Bar & Grill feels like stepping into a friend's cozy living room. Wood accents and warm lighting create a welcoming vibe, while the 10 TVs scattered around keep the sports fans entertained. But the real star of the show is the expansive deck overlooking Hunter Creek. On a sunny day, there's no better place to soak up the Oregon Coast beauty while enjoying a cold beer and a hot meal.

Read moreWe went in after cleaning and moving all day to get some grub and a cold drink...we shared the taquitos (with housemade salsa and sour cream) for an app and a cheeseburger with NO ONION for our meal with tater tots. They ended up accidentally making us fries but they made us the tots once we discovered the mistake (YES✋ WINNING). My friend had a Bushmills Whiskey on the rocks and I had a Coors Light Bottle and a Tic-Tac Shot (1 shot ORANGE VODKA dropped GENTLY onto a pint glass 1/2 full of RedBull) (I PROMISE it tastes just like an orange tic-tac breath mint) Anyway.....Our bill was $30, which is very reasonably priced and that was one of the best Cheeseburgers I've eaten in a long time. You can tell they hand press their own burger patties and don't use frozen pre-made patties; after 23 years of working in the restaurant/service industry I can tell you if I order a burger at a restaurant and it comes out with a frozen pre-made patty there are two options for the next time I visit that establishment (A) I'LL EITHER NEVER ORDER A BURGER FROM THERE AGAIN OR (B) I WON'T RETURN......The taquitos were AMAZING as well!!!! They tasted like they were fill with seasoned taco meat and had great flavor. We'll definitely be returning as soon as possible. DON'T FORGET to check out the outside covered patio over looking the river and read the jokes on the walls in the women's...
Read moreMy wife and I while on our anniversary vacation in Gold Beach found ourselves in Brookings for our anniversary dinner. As we were looking for a restraunt we found Hunter Creek and decided to make the drive back as our option. We were pretty excited as the food and service had great reviews. As we walked up to the door to go in we were greeted by the posted message. As we read it we both felt similar feelings. The letter was filled with judgement, hatred, anger and righteousness. We definently did not feel welcome or that our safety was important at all. If they are not following this simple rule I have little confidence they are following all other health regulations. While we understand they have the right to their opinions, wearing masks are mandated by the Governor. I also have little confidence in regards to those inside being fully vaccinated. I'm sure they could not care less about how we see their business model at this point. This is a vacation destination and if you care about your health and safety I highly recommend staying far away from Hunters. As a grown adult I care about how I impact the lives of others and following the rules. I'm thinking a den of lions would be a place I enter at my own risk not a bar and grill. So as the Tav expresses their touted love we felt no love at all. So we did take the advise and not go in. I suggest you...
