Top golf was nothing I had ever heard about before and when it came to Minnesota I was very excited as I am a golfer and this was a brand new way to enjoy my favorite pass time. I was first introduced to it a few years ago by my in-laws and they showed me a good time and all our fun was timed perfectly and the wait staff new what they were doing. We got our food and drinks in short order and food was ready almost immediately. Well this time was the day after my birthday weekend and before we arrived the website said wait time was up to 15 minutes. Upon getting to the counter the gentleman at the desk said it was over 30 minutes. Ok, we stayed anyway. Things change I get it. Well we were on the lane in under 30 seconds. I didn't even get time to browse the gift shop area. Which was a good thing! During game play we were prompted multiple times if we wanted to extend our time by the screen that controls gameplay. We had already stated we wanted one single hour and we had plenty of time to enjoy our time. Not long after the wait staff was on us about extending our game time as well. This obviously was obnoxious and uncalled for. Thanks for making my time not feel good enough for you and ruining my extended birthday weekend..... We felt rushed the remainder of our time there . Oh yes it gets worse. Stay tuned!! They were polite in asking if we were here for a celebration of some kind and I mentioned my birthday weekend. They wished a happy birthday and I thanked them more than once. They brought out a cookie Sunday and I mentioned we hadn't ordered it, but our wait staff quickly ran over and told me they wanted it to be a birthday surprise and I definitely was amazed. Thanked them again for that. After that though the fun really begins... . Still feeling rushed I tried to eat the Sunday as fast as I could. I also had more than one drink I had to finish. Believe it or not after our gold time was up, they again asked if we wanted to extend and we said no. We said we'd quickly eat and get going. That wasn't good enough. They said they needed the lane for more customers that were waiting. Well the attached pic was from twenty minutes after we left to finish our drinks in the bar behind the lane. Still not a soul there golfing like they lied about. I now have a stain on my birthday weekend from being ng rushed for no good reason. If we had stayed on the lane we may have played more and had more drinks and that make them money does it not?? I thought I new business but clearly they know the best practices in losing customers. Congratulations Top Golf. You've lost a customer for life, and I will absolutely make sure everyone I know and everyone that asks about you, knows what happened and not let it go. Happy to be of service guys!!

5 star golfing and entertainment experience with 2 star dining service. All of the golf games were fun and challenging and we will surely return for golfing! Really interested to see how this place functions in the MN winter. Wait staff really needs to get trained in or they need to increase staff levels to support the patrons. Our waitress was really good at acknowledging our requests and orders but not following through with them. Never came to the table unless we flagged her down or we called her with the touchscreen. It probably didn’t help that who I assume was her significant other was following her around and talking to her all night. Regardless, the food was tasty and hot when it showed up. It helped that the heaters were on due to it being 35 degrees out and the granite tables kept the food hot since the radiated heat from above heated the tables up. We played with a platinum member and therefore only had to pay for food. We ordered $36 of food and soda from the menu so I was surprised to get a $95 bill at the end. When I asked for an itemized receipt I was told they can’t do that. After reviewing the order with the waitress again and confirming we ordered nothing more than we just reviewed, we agreed it should have come to ~$36 + tax. When I asked why our bill was $95 then she just said she wasn’t sure but the system calculates our bill so it must be correct. :|. After several attempts, we finally saw an itemized bill and it had 9 extra sodas and 4 lifetime memberships on it (the $5 memberships were free for guests of platinum members). After explaining what needs to be removed she left to correct the total. Upon returning, I now had a $65 bill... She removed the memberships but not the sodas. After a short discussion of “aren’t soda refills free?” Of which she said she didn’t know, but if they were, the system wouldn’t have charged us for them, right? I asked if she could verify that with a manager and she left again. The next return consisted of her telling me there is no manager available but she removed some sodas even though she wasn’t sure if she was allowed. We ended up with a $45 bill paying for 3 extra sodas- but I wanted to leave and ended it there. As another reviewer noted, they turn and burn on the stalls, bussing your table before you’ve even got up from your seat. New players were there waiting before we got our coats on leaving us to deal with the whole bill issue standing at the back of the stalls holding menus, pens, multiple receipts etc and trying to review our charges with the...

I can’t believe I haven’t reviewed TopGolf yet. Wow.

TopGolf is a lot of fun. The employees are great and friendly. Nice people all around. All winter long I’m there 2-3 times per week for a few hours each time, and every interaction I’ve had with any staff has been very nice.

The gameplay is fun. Something for everyone. Angry birds for kids. Target golf for groups. Driving range if you just need to practice. Virtual courses are fun to play also. The Toptracer technology has made TopGolf awesome. You can really work on your game with ball speeds, height, and carry distance.

IF you have time off during weekdays, absolutely get the Platinum membership. If you and a friend or relative can split the cost, it’s really the best way to experience TopGolf. Free bay time on weekdays during the day. 20% off food and non-alcoholic beverages. Veterans, and other heroes I think, get 20% off their Platinum membership. If you’re even thinking about it, get the membership for a month and try it out. The monthly cost goes down, significantly, the more months you sign up for. But certainly give it a try for a month.

Lastly, food. All the food is good here. Try whatever. I’ve had everything, and while I like some things more than others, everything is good. My favorite food is the chicken sandwich Heat-wich.

But the BEST food they make here is the Double Trouble cookie skillet. It’s a brownie in a small skillet pan, with vanilla ice cream on time sprinkled with caramel. It’s so good I’ve had to stop eating them. It’s big enough to share, but I don’t. Not health for you, but certainly DELICIOUS.

If you play golf in Minnesota, it’s a long winter every winter. Now with TopGolf and my platinum membership, winters just fly by. The heated bays at TopGolf are comfortable with the temperature down into the teens without a north wind. With a north wind, it’s brutal. So if you’re going on a cold day, check the wind direction before you go.

That’s enough. If you like golf at all, you should certainly be spending...
