Lone Star Cajun Seafood and Steak — Restaurant in Brownfield

Visited the Restaurant with family on Friday evening, 28 Apr 2023. Were informed to seat ourselves. A waiter appeared with menues, asked for drink orders, came back with beverages and proceeded to take our orders. Brought the appetizer orders. After waiting well over an hour and still no food, my son got up to inquire at the counter where/when the food would be served?? My son was told the order had not been input, but would now be prepared. About another half hour later the the food was brought out. The Waiter was apologetic for his mistake. At check out my son spoke to a male person whom identified himself as the owner. He was very rude, did not think the delay was a big deal, and sorry he was not going to comp any part of the meal, although it was his mistake. His apology was he was busy in the kitchen! With something else??? The food was not too bad, however the service was very bad, the waiter barely spoke english. While were at the checkout counter a Lady came in and out of kitchen, looked very agressive, not a word of apology, acted rudely same as the man identifying himself as owner, no name given. We were a group of 4 who arrived at about 6:40 pm on Saturday, February 25, 2023. We were told to sit where we liked. The wait staff brought menus and took drink orders from 19 people, 17 of who came in after we were seated. I do not have any idea why the staff chose to completely disregard us, we were wearing AMTGARD garb, but we were not dirty or in any way disrespectful to anyone. Everyone else was in normal clothing so that could have been the issue, and if that is the case I would appreciate a dress code be listed. We stopped here for a late lunch/early supper before my daughter's game. We have good service, the waitress did talk very softly so my husband couldn't hear her but other than it it was good. We started with cheese sticks and fried gator, they were both tasty and we would order again. My husband had the steak and shrimp with a baked potato, it came out with steamed broccoli and zucchini which we didn't realize came with it or would have requested no veggies.
