China Rose buffet — Restaurant in Brunswick

I love the black pepper shrimp. I don't think it's on the lunch buffet. I think it's only available as a dinner item. I particularly like the vegetable tempura that's available at lunch. They have an authentic tempura batter that's very light and it compliments the vegetables, which is usually green string beans, sweet potato, broccoli and I believe another one. Their onion rings are fried in the same batter. They're delicious, especially when they first bring them out to the buffet. I love their blue cheese dressing. It's the best I've had anywhere and the only blue cheese dressing that I like. It tastes great with iceberg lettuce.They have a good selection of self-serve ice cream for scooping. I wouldn't recommend getting the buffet for takeout. It's not by weight and the containers are very small. If you fill another container, the price is the same as if you were eating in, so you would be paying for two full buffet meals. Used to eat her as a kid and teenager and to used to be so amazing! So many amazing memories and great service. I was in town so i ordered a pupu for 4 for my family for pick up, when i arruved i realized how run down the place was, the inside is gross! They have dead fish in there tanks!, but i still wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt because my food still smelled decent and we were starved, but no surprise the food was so nasty!! It smelled gross up close, everything was way to greasy! There was a STAPLE in my chicken wing! My family took one bite of something and we all gagged. I actually cried because of the amount of money i paid and i never thought i would get this kind of experience from this restaurant. Im not sire if there are new owners now since i was a kid but it was the nastiest “food” ive ever had. It was thrown away. I will be going back today to demand a refund. I've gone there before and was not impressed. I gave it a second chance tonight majority of the food was not very good and you can tell what was good because there was none of it left I went around 5:30 so there should have been plenty of food they weren't closing for another 4 hours there was four of us total including my family and I paid $76 for probably the worst meal I've ever had and when it came time for me to pay she brought my check and then proceeded to hover over me for about 20 minutes giving me dirty looks while I still continue to eat my food and I stood up to go to the bathroom and she ran over to me and said you pay now?
