Went today for first time , I really didn't know how I'd like this BBQ because I have found it hard to find good BBQ/smoked meat . But boy howdy was I pleasently surprised. Went with my mom and she ordered brisket sandwich so I had to taste it , the moist juicy flavorful brisket I've had in a long time, I had pulled pork and slaw . At first when I tasted the slaw I thought it was going tohave to much vinegar taste and I like vineger slaw. But pair it with the pork and sauce it was delicious. So for later we ordered a sampler to split and also a slab of ribs to split. The ribs OMG. I just can't say enough good about this place. I hate to down grade a place that I thought was great, but my second experience at this place is a very short 2 stars. Un organized, the 36 dollar steak wasn't fit to eat if you could even chew it, the loaded baked potato wasn't done & loaded like it should have been, you get 25cents worth of salad for $4.99, & the so called hostess of the establishment was down right RUDE. Had the opportunity to try well seasoned bbq food truck yesterday in Marshall mo. for the Booze,Burgers, and BBQ event. Delicious! They offered us their jalapeño popper and it was great, the bacon was cooked perfectly, with the right amount of smoke. Then I ordered the pork belly tacos and a side of cheesy corn. Let me tell you,I was not disappointed. The tacos had great smoke and the somewhat sweet sauce really paired great. As for the corn,it had great balance of flavors with just the right amount of heat.
