Wow, this place has gone downhill. The first few times we went the food was great, it was always packed and they offered a good variety. The last time we went it was dead. I thought they were closed until we saw the sign. When we were being led to a table the waitress kept passing tables because they were dirty. One had a dead stink bug on it. The menu had been cut down to bare bones. They don't have fried chicken or salmon anymore. They removed everything but the main bbq options. Their $8 corn bread appetizer used to be a fresh out of the oven full loaf mini-skillet. Now they drop 3 stale dry pieces on your table. Inedible. The ribs were greasy and the membrane on the back hadn't been removed making them hard to eat. They placed the greasy ribs on top of the fries, which made them soggy. The salt and pepper were both sticky. I had to go wash my hands after using them. The one saving grace was the nice waitress. I don't see how she can make a living there, so she got a full tip. But that meal was a huge waste of money. I will...

The owner of this spot owns a successful BBQ food truck, and he got the opportunity to move into this building and open a store front as an extension of that. The menu and hours vary and they do what works best for them during that time! As a local, I always check their Facebook to see if they have any recent announcements, and anytime we drive over we always know that there is a slight chance that they may not be open. They rarely open the phone when I call and recently the owner is serving the tables and they've slimmed down their staff. It makes it hard for customers, but I admire them for not trying to be something they're not and doing what they can. and what they CAN do, is BBQ!!!!! Their BBQ kills, the habanero BBQ sauce is addictive. Their All you can eat wings are my favorite special. They have a bar with liquor, beer and wine. Definitely worth checking out if you can catch their "open" sign on or if you see their truck (Evelyn Mae's)...

Went there for the 1st time tonight 10-21. Overall it wasn't bad. This is the QST restaurant where for 2 people was 95 dollars and I still left hungry. Brisket was 36 dollars a pound and that didn't even include the side which they add 5$. So for 1lb of brisket and some potatoes was 41+tax. Really don't feel like it was a pound. Food was decent. Bang bang shrimp was good but again 16 bucks and you get 4 shrimp with a little lettuce and onion. 95 dollars plus we left a 20$ tip so 115$ for 2 people and we was still hungry. Really suggest adding that side in the price along with reevaluating the price per pound prices I really feel like if you give your customers more food with lower prices you would have a well know place in the near future. Best thing was my wife said the bloody Mary was the best she's had in a while so your bartender...

So disappointed! The food was served lukewarm and in “to-go” containers. The portion size was ridiculous for the price! $26 for one thin slice of brisket, half a piece of smoked sausage that was cut in half, and a side of cole slaw and mac and cheese. We also ordered burnt ends and cornbread. The cornbread was cold. When asked if it was supposed to be cold, the server no but, “the cook didn’t think it was old enough to microwave it yet.” No condiments were offered, including no bbq sauce. We had to request them. We asked for butter and honey for the cornbread and received cold butter (useless on cold cornbread) and honey that was per the server, “almost too difficult to squeeze out of the bottle.”

Food taste was sooo goood. Bun was crispy and meat also not salty. Seasoning was good. And meat was a lot for one person. I dident finished the potato fride. ( I ordered the mashed potatoes. But i got potato fried 😂😂) Anyway fried also very good. But the price was a bit unreasonable. The pulled pork cost $14. Even if it was 10 to 11 bucks, I thought it would be okay. Very expensive for a hamburger and overall overpriced. I feel I thought there have barbecue sauce in burger. But it's was not.. I'm not sure ...I feel the conslow seems to have replaced it.

The couple patrons at the bar were friendly to me while I took a minute to order. The owner was friendly and helpful in getting me a sampler of what was still available at the end of the night to eat. And not having to say to keep the bbq sauce on the side was a fresh surprise in the north. What I was most pleased about was the healthy sized portion of macaroni that has a very bold taste and an equally nice sized piece of cornbread made just like it was homemade.
