The Crosstown Tavern — Restaurant in Buckingham Township

The food was very good, but unfortunately food service was terrible; drink service was decent however. We waited over an hour for our appetizer (2 dozen wings) and at least another 15 minutes for our entrees (2 Philly cheesesteak sandwiches), all while at least two tables of customers who arrived after us received their orders before us as noted by all members of my party. When we asked the server where our food was around the 45 minute mark, we received an unapologetic, "We're really backed up," and we were asked "not to be rude" when members of my party were becoming annoyed as the wait dragged on. We were then told at over an hour that the wings would be out "in about 3 minutes" which turned into double that amount of time. We were ready to pay for our drinks and cancel our food orders, and frankly we should've done that. Needless to say my friends and I will never eat or drink here again. I heard that this establishment will be under new ownership soon, and I hope the new owners do a better job. I've already told all my local friends not to bother...

Went for an early dinner tonight with some friends. We haven’t been here in a while because the service as been absolutely horrible in the most recent months ever since the one girl left. We use to go every week now we can’t stand going. Tonight we got greeted pretty quickly but then it goes down Hill after that. Our waitress constantly was ignoring us. We would ask for something and she would roll her eyes and say she needs a few mins with an attitude. She was throwing beer bottles In The garage making them smash very hard. We would try and ask her for something and she would just walk away before we even finish what we were saying. Every time we are in there now the service just gets worse. Trying to ask our waitress to do her job I guess was just...

I was on a Meandering Road Trip with the Spouse. I had just driven from Knigston,NY on nothing but back roads. It was 12:06 ( noon ) as I passed the Crosstown Tavern... Lunch time. It looked like the kind of place that only exists because it must be Fantastic. Oh My God... Rustic, Great Food, and wonderful staff and other interactive customers sitting at the counter. My only regret is that this Roadhouse is 100 miles from my home and I know I will never be able to visit it again. I wish I could.
