I have to say this establishment has gone downhill under the new ownership. I don't like to say it because the lady who runs it is super nice and trying her best but her kitchen staff is seriously letting her down. We've tried it 3 times and all 3 times the food has been mediocre at best. We tried the French dip and it was extremely fatty and chewy and the auju was off putting. French fries were soggy. The 2nd time we had cheeseburgers and they were dry and tasteless and fries again were soggy and inedible. This past weekend we tried the Prime Rib special and again it was a disappointing experience. Steak was drastically over cooked and no flavor. The twice baked potato was not a true version as it was only the potato mixed around. No cheese, bacon, scallions or anything and I paid extra for a twice baked potato. All 3 times have been expensive and while I don't mind paying for quality I do get upset to pay top dollar for food that is inedible, wrong and simply poor quality. We had hoped they worked through the kinks of new management but they have not. We won't go back for a long time as there's other local places that offer far better food for a more reasonable price.

We had heard from friends about this place so we decided to go. Got there at 5:30 and walked right in. Seat yourself. Very clean and friendly atmosphere. Smoking is allowed. They have good ventilation and fans going. 99% of the food is deep fat fried but very tasty and good portions. The waitress was very friendly and checked on us repeatedly.
