Mark and Anthony must be competitors of Merighi's to write such undeserved things about this fine establishment. My husband and I have only started dining there in the last couple of years (new to the area), and we've never had anything but friendly, exceptional service and delicious meals. We went just last weekend. He had the filet mignon with horseradish mashed potatoes, which he savored so much, he had to close his eyes and bask. I had the "Catch" of fresh salmon that was cooked to perfection, flaky and juicy, nestled on a bed of spinach that was mouthwatering. I also had the vegetables, which were cooked al dente, with crispness that made me know I was eating something fresh and healthy when I bit into them. I've tried to emulate the garlic mashed potatoes, but mine pale by comparison (even my husband said so haha). Oh, and kudos to Merighi's Savoy Inn for having solar panels installed. Seeing those warmed our hearts, as we care for the planet, and are happy to see they do, too. It makes us want to dine there more often just to offset the cost, and because we know we're dining in a eco-friendly restaurant. Alexis was our waitress last time. She was there to meet our every need, very upbeat, friendly and professional, while not hovering. She added to our fine experience. We will be back, repeatedly! Worth every penny, we assure you. Read moreFirst of all, the food was a huge disappointment — just yuck.
A. The place feels outdated. They don’t accept tap-to-pay, which is frustrating in this day and age since not everyone carries a physical card or cash anymore.
B. I expected my meal to match the price I paid, but it was awful. I ordered the linguine with short rib, and it tasted like hospital cafeteria food — absolutely flavorless, with soggy, overly soft pasta. It was so unappetizing I could barely force myself to eat it, even after spending $50, and still couldn’t finish it.
C. I asked for plastic utensils since I was taking my food to go, but they told me they don’t carry any. That was surprising.
D. The entire place smelled like mildew, which was a major turn-off.
The only redeeming factor was the friendly waitress.
Would I ever come back? Absolutely not. I’m leaving this review so other out-of-towners like me don’t get fooled by the high ratings. Maybe the chef was having an off day, but what I was served did not match the glowing...
Read moreSmile Flash print photo booth was here for a Business Christmas party. I got to meet the owner very friendly man. The staff members were very helpful and friendly, the food smell delicious unfortunately because we are a working photo booth we didn't have a chance to partake in the food. I would have to say that it looked very delicious. We have been to many different venues and this 1 is 1 that I am most likely to go back to, as it was easy to get in-and-out of as vendor. Now as far as over all is concern definitely I would suggest this place for parties or even weddings. The inside was gorgeous and very spacious, The combinations are numerous of which you can do inside. Take it from me as a vendor and as a person who looks at every single detail of an area where I work. Take the time if you are in the market and check out...
