Upon first sight , this place looks like a run down creeper house. Once inside you find a small quaint little diner arrangement with more seating than expected. I’ve eaten here before and I’m impressed every time . The service is absolutely worthy of a five star bistro in A large city . The waiter/ waitresses very friendly and work hard to please you. The place was nearly full and almost everyone inside , customers especially, were extremely chatty and friendly. The food was definitely some of the very best on the planet! I’ve never seen my sons face light and relax into pure joy like the moment he bit into his Cowboy burger. Myself, could not get enough of the mouth watering crinkle fries done perfectly, without salt clouding the taste , not greasy at all , and the melt in your mouth French dip was the best I’ve ever had across the country. It didn’t come on a chewy hard bread. It came on a very tasty moist perfect roll.i was even more supremely happy when the unfinished portion of my sandwich was nearly the same as it when it arrived in my plate at the restaurant. I will return again . I especially recommend the cheese balls and corn nuggets as appetizers, and so many people rave about the Saturday special Fajitas . Portions were very well sized for the price . And I nearly forgot to mention the fresh home made ranch dressing...
Read moreWe met friends there for lunch on a Wednesday. It wasn't crowded, and we stayed a long time. It's a great, clean, little family restaurant. Nothing fancy outside or inside, but what a great place. The waitress was very outgoing and friendly. She checked on us regularly to see if we were happy and to see if we needed drink refills. Two of our group had the roast beef sandwich with mashed potatoes and gravy, and they thought it was wonderful. Another in our group had the breaded tenderloin and fries. The tenderloin was large (1/2 lb), had a light golden batter, and was juicy, tender, and flavorful. I had the Cowboy hamburger, and I may have found my new, favorite burger. It was perfectly seasoned, thick (1/2 lb), and juicy. It had pepper jack cheese and lightly breaded fried onion pieces on it, along with a sweet bbq sauce. It came with creamy cole slaw, and I chose tater tots for my potato. They were a light golden color, seasoned, and moist inside --- just the way I like them. The meals were all large and reasonably priced (under $11). We'll definitely come back. There is a nice bar next door, and we stopped there for a beer...
Read moreMy husband went in to eat breakfast. He did a takeout for me as I was at home. My order was biscuits and gravy. It was really horrible the worst I’ve ever had. I couldn’t even eat it because all I could taste was flour so I called the restaurant and asked how they make their gravy. He said milk, pepper and FLOUR….that is the taste. I told him they really need to try a different recipe for the gravy. The gentleman I talk to on the phone was very nice and polite. He said he would let them know. He asked if I wanted a refund, I told him no I just wanted to let them know that the gravy was really bad and they really should try another recipe. Would I go back to them, yes I would. I’ve been there other times. They do have great food and reasonable prices and the waitresses are really nice. It was just that the gravy was...
