LaVon's Bakery & BBQ — Restaurant in Buhler

I've been searching for verenika that matches the wonderful flavor that I loved as a young person. Very hard to find any restaurant that serves this and has always been very disappointing. Recently a gentleman suggested LaVon's noting limited hours but excellent food. Of course, I knew i had to try! Called ahead and ordered 2 dozen with ham gravy. Just for reference, I've been telling my husband how wonderful this dish is for over 30 years. Today, he ate and loved. I loved!!! So delicious & flavorful with the smoked ham flavor coming through with every bite! Well worth a bit of driving. I'm in love ❤️ after 40+ years of searching for the verenika I loved, I'm so happy to have found my holy grail lol Now looking forward to trying other dishes...

If you are looking for a extremely unique dining experience with good food this is the place. I got there Veronica with ham gravy and and German sausage it was absolutely excellent. I absolutely love the atmosphere in this quaint hand-built restaurant... it is a must-see !!! Don't forget to get a piece of pie......
