We stopped there after antiquing. Had no idea it was there, but we were starved, and not expecting much. When we walked in it was wonderful! We love antiques, and that was the theme of the restaurant, such a pleasant atmosphere and super nice employees. Our waiter, Duncan was THEE best, so accommodating to my stupid questions and the things I ask for. He went out of his way for us and we appreciated him greatly. I had the Fried Jumbo shrimp, they were the biggest shrimp I’ve ever eaten. And I ordered one jumbo crab cake on the side, the best decision that made. He had their Hot Peppers and sausage spaghetti. EXCELLENT! Best meal I’ve had from a restaurant in such a long time. They brought bread and corn bread with this delicious hot peppers and onions jam. I thought I’d hate it…to die for, a must try!! They serve great Italian food while playing Frank Sinatra. Who could ask for more! It’s about an hour away from our home in WV but we will definitely go back. Sorry for the half eaten photo, but while I was eating I thought omg this delicious I’m going to rate this place I need a picture!!

We are visiting the area from NY and really enjoyed the food here! At the Bar we could see there were a few separate dinning areas and the whole place had a homey feel. Almost like walking into someone's house. I enjoyed a lovely glass of Pinot Grigio and the baked clams for my appetizer. The baked clams were delicious! My sister had the Italian wedding soup, one of her favorites, which she also commented was delicious! Our entrees were also very good the Chicken Milanese and the Fish and Chips. If you're ever at Nino's and they offer fresh grated cheese on anything I suggest you try it. The staff was pleasant prompt and joyful!

We had an amazing experience tonight for dinner! The food was delicious! But it was our server extraordinaire, Jade, that really took the experience over the top! Jade is an incredibly kind and personable person! She laughed at all my jokes and was so sweet! Jade showed us the meaning of haste and worked tirelessly to make sure we always had what we needed and wanted! We will definitely be back and already told several friends to come here! Thank you Jade!!!

My wife and I were staying in Donegal, PA at a Days Inn after visiting Fallingwater nearby. The manager recommended Nino's as a nice place to eat for the evening and said that it had been a speakeasy back in the day. I was a bit skeptical because there weren't many reviews on Google, but nothing else in the area seemed to stand out for us so we made the decision to give it a try. We were not disappointed! Upon our entrance we were politely welcomed and seated. The restaurant was empty except for patrons in the bar. We were offered bread with butter and a sundried tomato jam (delicious). The house special was homemade lasagna. Our waitress Kim was attentive, personable, funny, and frankly made us glad we chose to come before we had any food. My wife had the filet mignon which was cooked to perfection. I had the house special and homemade meatballs. The meatballs tasted just like my italian grandmother used to make in her kitchen. Food = 10/10. We noticed little placards with names all over the walls near certain seats and inquired about them. Kim told us that the owner puts them up as memorials for regulars who have passed away - placing them near the seat they loved and frequented. After dinner, my wife and I went to the bar for a drink and took a seat near a big female cigar store indian. The placards were all over the bar area as well. From the decor to the wait staff to the owner remembering those he served - this is a place that I highly recommend if you're nearby. Any trip to Fallingwater or Ohiopyle should include Nino's as THE place to go after an enjoyable time spent in the Laurel Highlands of...

My husband and I just held our wedding reception here. I can't say enough about how wonderful the venue was, how distinctive and delicious and accommodating the ownership has been.

Ninos laid out their homemade antipasto tray as an appetizer, and had a charming bartender serving the local Helltown beer and their wine on the patio. Our guests were able to wander all around the gardens and explore the Laurel Garden art shop, and take polaroids of themselves in the little activity station that they had set up outside. The bartender was regaling our friends with stories about the rugged industrial history of Mt Pleasant (formerly a steel and coke town, named "Helltown", zip code 15666), which was a really great local touch for our folks from out of town.

The food was delicious-- we had arugula salad, roasted root vegetables, pork loin, salmon cakes, polenta and stuffed portabello mushrooms-- and most of it was harvested locally and in season (not the salmon :)) . The ownership also did our flower arrangements for both the ceremony site and the reception, which were beautiful dalias and hyacinths that they collected from a local flower farm.

The staff is wonderful, too. They were professional, but got into the spirit of things too (I swear I saw some of them dancing!), and many were back the following morning for Sunday brunch. We highly recommend this restaurant and this venue for weddings and other...

Love this place First time here, stumbled on it on way back from Seven Springs The wait staff was very friendly and attentive. The owner Nino came around and greeted old customer and welcomed new ones. He greeted us warmly and when inquired about the building, gave history of the building as old farm house, speak easy during prohibition and when it became for sale in the 70's Nino and his wife bought it, turned it into a resturant since that time. All food fresh and local. An extra bonus is that the owner and wife are avid antique collectors. Nicely appointed with their finds. The gardens are spectacular Perfect venue for a small wedding or celebration. The food was made to order. The lump crab cakes did not need anything but it's spectacular favour and aroma The heirloom caprese salad was prime for early September. Nino encouraged us to look around upstairs and outside and we found real treasures including the antique scale that really worked when you put in a penny and all of the Tiffany lamps and stain glass

When I have my big anniversary it will be here. It is a perfect setting Transcended back in time and the experience was EXCEPTIONAL!!!! Good...
