Update 6/30/22 - I stopped by for my usual shrimp tacos. The prices went up tremendously! Pre-Covid 2 shrimp tacos were $6. Then they raised them to $7.50 within the last year. Now today the price for 2 shrimp tacos are $10.00! That’s quite a jump in price & honestly there was not enough shrimp in them to be worth it. Also, for some reason their green sauce was not the same as what they regularly serve. The consistency was really runny & the flavor was off. Wasn’t good at all 😢. I really loved stopping by this place quite frequently but after today I probably won’t be back much. I understand price hikes have been happening everywhere but this is a little much. And unfortunately the shrimp tacos aren’t worth what they are charging. If you want to charge that much then make sure there are plenty of shrimp to make it worth it
I have been passing by this place on 281 ever since it opened & have never stopped by. It is super close to my house so I decided to to try it today. I am so glad I did! The menu is very reasonable & some items are actually great deals! You can get 2 fish tacos for $5 & 2 shrimp tacos for $6. I had the shrimp quesadillas & absolutely loved them! The portion was plentiful & very fulfilling. For those who are not seafood fans they have carne asada, pork and chicken options. I will...
Read moreWe've eaten here several time and have enjoyed it each time. We're ceviche eaters so people that are not and leave bad reviews I'd ignore. The mixto, camarones, pescado, etc are all good. Tacos are also great. Tostados or Chalupas are also great. We normally get a Michelada and we love how they fix thiers up. The service is different because they don't have a waiting staff, but we're not entitled people that can't handle some table cleaning when we're done or getting something extra for ourselves. The hot sauces are solid with good flavoring and heat, they're hot, but we like hot food. Some people that don't like hot might find it too hot, but it's MEXICAN FOOD, it's supposed to have some pop! Anyways, we eat here or El Bucanero for Mexican style Ceviches and other seafood dishes. We've never had oysters here, I normally don't order those at places that aren't "nice" or near the ocean. Oysters have to be fresh, so...
Read moreI would rate this place zero stars if I could. My family traveled 1 hour out of their way to make it one hour before closing time. It was exactly 8:12 when they arrived and the kitchen lights were turned off. The hours of operation state that this establishment closes at 9pm on Yelp and google. When my mother asked to speak to the manager, he was rude and didn’t care. He didn’t apologize and explained that the hours of operation had changed. Well, this has not been updated online and is misleading to people who travel out of their way. We will never step one foot in this restaurant again for the rudeness and arrogance of the staff and management. See photo with hours of operation. My family left the restaurant dissatisfied and unhappy with the way they were treated. If you care about customer satisfaction, look to eat at another seafood...
