The salmon was our favorite dish, Mac and cheese was creamy and home made. Chicken wings were great. Unique meatloaf was tasty. Side salads were quality and nice portions. Kids menu prices were great. I was brave and tried the mushroom strudel which indeed had a strong mushroom flavor but I'll never order that again. We wouldn't particularly recommend the country fried chicken either. Lots of outdoor dining when the weather permits, the indoor dining room is a little tight and the atmosphere is just OK. Our server Alicia was friendly. The adult meal prices were a little high, but I'd probably go back for the ambiance of the OUTDOOR dining and a fancier date with my wife when the weather is pleasant. They have a separate indoor dining area for catering large groups with a limited menu.

I'm not sure where all of the negative reviews are coming from. The fact that there is a decent restaurant within a state park should already be a big positive, if for no other reason than to not needing to cook yourself in a nature area or drive a long distance to the closest restaurant. The food and cocktails were a mixed bag, ranging from decent to really good. It was raining when we were here, with an influx of people coming inside to stay dry. The waitress was alone for a big chunk of time, waiting for reinforcements to arrive. She did great taking care of all of us in the meantime. I think this place is good for what it is. It's not gourmet, but still very solid.

Restaurant attached to the lodge. Nothing fancy. Indoor seating is pretty basic but the deck is nice if the weather permits. Food is unfortunately just not very good. Appears to just be stuff they have premade that they just sort of heat up or slap together. Nachos were especially rough. Basically one step above what you get from a little league concession stand. It's definitely a good place to go in a pinch or if you ran out of food before your trip ends. Service was solid. I don't know if they were understaffed or didn't expect the crowd on a random Wednesday night in November, but they were working their butts off. Try the Piney River Brewing beer selection.

We have stayed at many Park Lodges, and while Echo Bluff is a beautiful facility and location, this restaurant is a big disappointment. We ate here for dinner on a Sunday night. They had 2 waitresses and ended up pulling in the gift shop person as an additional waiter. Despite having many empty tables, people had to stand in line waiting to be seated for at least 30 min. I doubt any of us would have stayed if there were any other restaurants within a reasonable distance.

Once seated, it was 20 min to place an order and an hour to get our food. My cheeseburger was delicious, but the fries were cold. My wife had the meatloaf, which was cold. The mashed potatoes were runny, and the gravy was liquid. There was no way we were sending it back as we only saw the waitress twice during this entire time. Other customers had the same experience. We had stayed here one other time and remembered that it was not great then. We drove the 30 min to Eminence for dinner our 2nd night.

The facility has so much potential, and there are few other options to eat unless one is willing to go a long way. The wait staff was pleasant and apologetic, and the...

Don’t mean to sound so negative but we ate there last night and it was the worst meal that we spent $70 on (just 2 of us) in a long time. It truly was like a frozen tv dinner warmed to lukewarm at best in a microwave. We had the meatloaf that was described as bacon wrapped. Waiter said it was popular and good. It was mush with one lump string of bacon on it. The fries I will say were good temp and tasty. I expected a pretty nice place being inside of a lodge (something like Pere Marquette has) but this was a small room that looked more like the decor of a hospital cafe. Very basic and plain for as expensive as the menu items were. Will not be back. Service wasn’t bad but seemed to be partying in the kitchen a little more than should. Party next to us was complaining about their food and returning it. I just...
