Mimmo's Italian Restaurant — Restaurant in Burkeville

This was my first experience with Mimmos as I work nearby. I got the Alfredo with chicken and broccoli which comes with bread. There are 2 menus online. 1 says the price is $18.00 - the other says the price is $14.95. When I called in my take-out order, I specifically asked which one it was & the person who answered the phone said the lowest amount. When I got there, the cashier started ringing up $18.00 & I told her I was quoted a different price on the phone. After a short back&forth, I asked her to get the person I talked to. They did make it right by only charging me the $14.95 ($17.11 after taxes and a charge fee), but I feel like as someone working at the restaurant, you should know your own prices. The actual food? Definitely not worth what I paid. And the bread? Ha! It's not even warm. No butter, no garlic, just a roll chopped...

This place has really gone downhill in the last couple of years. After several bad experiences with them, I decided to give them another try on Sunday. I placed a take out order for calamari and chicken marsala. They no longer give you a salad and bread with any meals so I paid extra for the salad. The total came to $40 which is ridiculous. When I got the food home, the calamari was limp and swimming in grease and smelled like low tide. I threw it away. The chicken marsala had two 3 inch paper thin pieces of chicken that were dry and overcooked. This was also no edible. I had asked for the side of spaghetti to come with meat sauce and it had a small bit of marinara not even enough to coat the spaghetti. I will not go back. Ridiculous prices and poor...

Worst service I’ve ever had. I asked for a minute to decide what I wanted and the waitress didn’t come back for 30 minutes. I had waited another 30 minutes after ordering before asking if I was going to get the salad and bread that came with my meal, and since the waitress forgot it came out well after my entree. I ordered the shrimp scampi which says “served with pasta” on the menu and I did not receive pasta, only shrimp in scampi sauce.
