Casey's — Restaurant in Burlington

I love right across the river, downtown Casey’s is the most convenient for me on most of my days. Except the fact they don’t have anything. Ever. Nothing is in stock, there’s maybe a piece of pizza on the round thing, and it looks like it’s been there for a long while. They never have creamer, and when anyone (I’ve seen them act this way with other as well as me) asks if they can do their job they get rude and disrespectful. Like I’m sorry I wanna sit and do nothing in ur phone while someone pays you. I’m not sure which employees r the worst. They do have a couple great younger ppl, which says a lot, the older generation does nothing while 18-20 year olds are nice and respectful and they do their jobs, I thought this was a lead by example. I’m just tired of coming down here, wasting me gas to get coffee that they don’t have, just to have to go across town to get it. Casey’s coffee is the only coffee I drink, but that’s about to change with this place. I mean 7 days a week I get coffee from them, I want to see someone showing they care for...

I thought it would be kind of nice to have a bigger Caseys in the neighborhood and in some aspects it is but it seems like they are often out of basic Items, for being a great big store its disappoints far more often than the old one did. The selection is not great for a store this size, when they first opened I was somewhat impressed with their beer selection but it has gone down hill since and is now on par with the selection of everything else. My biggest pet peeve with the new store is the awful parking/pumps configuration, with the pumps orientated the way they are not only is it very difficult to get in an out of them with a trailer (being close to the river thats a necessity for tama area people) but you are constantly pulling up or backing out of parking spots right in someone elses way or vice versa, total clusterf*

I love this Casey's location. It's a good location with big parking area and a big store. They have fast Pizza service and lots of convenience items. Never seems to be busy when I'm there which is probably off hours compared to when they normally are busy. But it works for me. Friendly staff even when they're short they put out a nice effort to be friendly. The store is always clean. The bathrooms are always clean. The parking lot is always clean.
