The 2nd and 3rd to last time I had Falco's Pizza, I was very disappointed. Both times, the bottom crust was hard. Sauce was a little mild compared to what I've had previously. Falco's Pizza is a family staple. Even before I was born and my parents were dating in high school (Kelly) The last time was a celebration of life dinner for my Mom who we had just buried earlier that day. My parents are happily back together and savoring their favorite restaurant, Falco's. 😊 The pizza was so disappointing, family/friends complained how the pizza wasn't the same. This was in early November 2022. After 47 years of life, I contemplated never going again or trying one of the other locations. Jump forward to April of 2023. I'm driving back from the West Coast after taking care of my Mom's estate. My GPS has me driving past the restaurant. I hadn't eaten all day and it was dinner time and I was hungry. I thought. Let's give it a try to see if the pizza had improved. I order a slice of sausage and a fountain drink. The same thing my parents would get when they visited the restaurant. Sitting in the dining room. Everything is great. Atmosphere, Staff, Patrons, ect. No complaints then or ever. I received my slice. Looks very delicious but how is the crust. I pick it up and I can instantly feel. Falco's is back. It just felt right. I eat the crust edge first, always. Then I consume the rest of the slice. Perfect. Memories come flooding back of times eating Falco's along with my family It was everything I expect in a slice/piece of pizza. The consistency. Thank you Falco's Pizza. In my eyes, you have redeemed yourself and you have regained a frequent customer. Oh. By the way, I ordered a large sausage pizza to take home with me. The family and I enjoyed it very much. Even cold, it's still the best Pizza in all of...
Read moreI been coming to this place even before they moved from outside of street. Food and place was fun and affordable and brought in new guests who never had them. About 3 weekish ago got food for family and was about $68 bucks. Got the food and wasn't impressed, my pops got the spaghetti with meat sauce and meatballs and it was in a bowl like they mixed it with w blender. I got the mostaccioli only with meat sauce and Italian sausage same thing in a bowl looked like it was mixed together by a blender. Was blah, never had it like that before. Awful sauce was plain and old. Got side salads sure really didn't have much to brag about there small and dressings half full. I mean what I pay? Then got a super slice, well looked ok but cheese wasn't even cooked all the way or baked. I did try expressing my concerns I was told my name and number were taken down for free slices in future. Well called, no one had nothing on file for it. And I'm very upset I want my money back but doesn't seem like no one cares. Sadly this place doesn't care anymore. And my family used to go the one in Cicero as I was a kid. I been coming to this one since mid 2010ish forwards and just garbage. And Chase said call them I did, but no one has gotten back to me. So Chase said they are valid for the money. Thanks for garbage and wrecking my life and quality of ur bad food and having kids run ur place down 👎 I wouldn't go back even if I got a refund. Sad times and depressing no one reached back out yet. Fix and bring back the way things were...
Read moreLet me begin by saying I've been to Falco's before but at the Chicago location in Brighton Park neighborhood. This Falco's location has the best building and atmosphere without a doubt. It's definitely bigger than the other Cicero & Chicago locations. At this location, you can order as soon as you walk in but you choose where you'd like to sit and place your number on your table's cardholder so the server knows where to deliver the food to. This is not the type of place you should expected to be waited on. When we ordered appetizers, our plates were delivered to us well after we dug in. We didn't mind but the plates should have been given when the food arrived in my opinion. Moving along to the food- we ordered 3 different appetizers: mozzarella sticks, jalapeño poppers, and fries. The mozzarella sticks were classic and hot (temperature wise). The poppers had a cheddar based filling inside on the chunkier consistency. The fries have a thick cut and aren't too crispy. I could pass on those. The pizza however still holds up to how I remember Falco's pizza tasting as a child. It's a thin crust pizza with lots of sauce. I'm a saucy gal, and this sauce is a bit runny, which I like. Overall, very simple but flavorful pizza. We ordered a sausage & pepperoni. Sausage is under the cheese and the...
