I’m not sure if it’s new owners, new staffing, or just a hard day. The pizzas we got today looked, tasted, all wrong, along with the staff being unorganized with my order. I’ve been going here for years and it’s always been 5/5 stars. Maybe today was a hiccup or maybe it’s new staffing, new owners, a hard day, I don’t know.
So. We got 2 pizzas and a large fry. The large fry it self was fine. This review is only about the 2 pizzas + the un-organization. At first they tried to give me the wrong pizza and were about to give a customer our actual pizza, giving me their pizza, along with missing a fry - which I had to remind them that we had ordered, along with them telling me that the order total was a different price than what was said on the phone, it was a lower price on the phone than what they were trying to tell me it was in person when I went to go pick up my order. Eventually, it all got resolved on that part. But still, that being said, unorganized, and this was all about 10-15 minutes max to for it to get resolved. I just wanted to pick our order, that was supposedly ready, and head home. We got 2 pizzas. Both were suppose to be size large. The large pizzas are suppose to fit the box or mostly close enough to the size of the box, like how Serio’s pizza normally always is. Right? Right. This was not. Not today. Today this was like a small, uneven, pizza in a large pizza box, both of them. 1 was not cut, at all. Which isn’t a big deal like whatever I’ll cut it myself, but the other one was cut thankfully - however same deal with the size, it’s practically a small pizza in a Large pizza box. 1 pizza was half and half with toppings however it was completely uneven. The other pizza was suppose to have extra sauce, it didn’t, it was just the same amount as the other pizza which was regular sauce amount. I love this pizza place because for the most part it is affordable but also they normally have the best pizza crust/dough, it’s thick and not dry, it’s perfect, perfect size, exactly what ordered, Normally. Today’s pizza, for the first time in forever, was uneven, thin/flat, very dry, uneven / not size correctly at all. It is what it is. It got eaten, not wasted, I just wanted to not deal anymore with this, but very disappointing order. Again. I’m not sure if it’s just a hard day, new staffing, etc, but it was very disappointing and definitely not how Serio’s pizza is the way that everyone knows it. I hope next trip will be...
Read moreGreat food, great prices, might be the in the top 5 best square pizzas in the state Update: 10/03/20 Bad service, rude miserable waitress, below average pizza sauce is yuk, cold food, Update 11/12/23 This place has got better since my last review. The food is better and service is Much better, Over the years I have probably ordered 80% of everything there has been on the menu with most being average or just above average. Average is good especially for this bit if a hidden Gem. Back on the day i would drive an hour to eat here, make the trek out of my way because the food was above average and the pizza was Exceptional. The food has remained about the same but the pizza is still missing something from its heyday. Sadly It's just not what i used to be and i don't know why. The waitresses see friendlier and more interested in helping you. The orders coming out of the kitchen are less than 100% accurate which can be frustrating especially when its only like 3 customers in there it should be spot on. Otherwise its a friendly, nice place i would recommend The "Dozen" Doughboy bag Is a Shinning star and definitely bumps this place up to 4 stars from an otherwise 3 star place. If you go BUY A BAG OF FRIED DOUGH!!! You Will...

Very nice server. We went on a weekday. Update Spring - check out the photo of the Serio's grinders - the classic Italian and the Serio's "special". They are incredible!!;
Update winter 23 Still a fantastic place for food. The employees and the owner (Big Jim) are the best! Try the white pizza!
FIRST TIME at Serios and this place is a KEEPER!!! Serio's Pizzarama is a long-time neighborhood Italian restaurant where they still take the time to make everything from scratch according to Jim's (the owner) careful guidance. We started with takeout (due to Covid) and ordered Lasagna and Chicken Parm. Both portions were huge, including salad and were authentically italian recipes. The delicious sauce was slightly sweet, not too tangy. Lasagna was loaded with goodies and nice creamy ricotta. The Chicken parm was nicely cooked and buried under a blanket of delicious italian cheeses!
We will make Serios a...
